Why Buy Stocks?

Every time I think stocks have a shot to move higher, mother market, aka. Merlin, comes by to make sure that does not happen.

My position in BIDU was quickly stopped out this morning for a loss, so much for a bounce. I also took SOHU off the table as the breakout did not hold.

In the meantime I’ll go back to scalping [[BGZ]] .

Fun times, not.

Note: [[SRS]] is on fire! I remember buying it @ $60 a few weeks back, wish I still owned it.

I bought Sohu.com Inc. [[SOHU]] with a stop right below $40.

I like Apple Inc. [[AAPL]] under $90

I like Google Inc. [[GOOG]] under $300

I like W&T Offshore, Inc. [[WTI]] Under $15

I like National-Oilwell Varco, Inc. [[NOV]] under $25

I like VMware, Inc. [[VMW]] under $21

I like Sohu.com Inc. [[SOHU]] right here @ 42

Down, up, down, up. Volatility galore. This provides a great environment for scalping trades as well as going insane.

Today, I’ve been in and out of trades scalping a few pennies in effort to feed my need to trade. The afternoon normally provides a chop fest, and I don’t see any reason why today will be different. I will wait for the final hour of trading to make my move. Most likely I will just play it with 3x leverage via [[BGZ]] & [[BGU]] .

It’s probably best to sit out today, but if you must trade, remain hedged.
