Not much going on in the markets this week as we close the books on 2011. I’ve got a list of small cap ideas I’m watching this week, but for the most part will be taking it easy. 2011 was a rough year filled with epic headfakes with more chop than a Chinese stick, and I’m glad to see it go.

Google is a bright spot today, and a stock that should do well in 2012. The stock did basically nothing in 2011, but as we close out the year, the stock is breaking a multi year base. Along with $SINA, $GOOG is one of my top picks for 2012.
