Hi,
I got diagnosed with dangerously high blood pressure today; I don’t know how much of that is due to the fun of the market, but I’ll be taking it easy for the next little while.
I fully intend to still trade a bit, and continue to frequent the UserNotes/PG gallery, but I won’t be here enough to post in the King’s spot… So I give up my crown, and I’ll ask Jeremy to pass that onto whoever was the next one in line…
Thanks for your support, guys, and who knows, maybe some other time 🙂 !
Cheers!

Take it easy, chief.
Take care Omen! Hope you Get well soon.
drink wine
Agree with Monsieur Le Fly totally. Some suggestion from the Okanagan : Mission Hill Oculus 2004 ; Le Vieu Pin Pinot Noir Reserve 2005 ; Le Vieu Pin Merlot Reserve 2007 (drink it either in 2012 or when the Loafs next win the Stanley Cup) ; Quails Gate Stewart Family Reserve Cabernet 2004. And if you want to just swill a bit back this week-end Stoneboat Pinotage 2007.
Relax Omen, as a wise man once told me “When life doesn’t seem so nice, just take down your pants and slide on the ice”.
Thanks for all the great posts.
will look for you on the user notes area. enjoy your commentary and hope you feel better.
Take care of yourself Omen.
Ohhh, I don’t mean to over state my thing, but it’s just that I want to be able to take time off from the market, and while that’s fine for normal users, the King has an obligation to the subjects which elected him to blog on a regular basis 🙂 I’d rather not blog shit just for the sake of blogging, let someone who can actually commit to writing GOOD blogs take over the month… 🙂
But it was certainly awesome and unexpected to be elected, only few months after joining the site.. 🙂 Thanks!
Omen,
Treat yourself gently, no one else will.
that’s why i just don’t go to the doctor.
Omen – Take care. Listen to your Doc. Get well.
Be well…… start walking daily.
So glad you’re putting your health as a priority omen. take care, Lindsay
Omen,
I am so sorry to hear that you are going through this and I will miss your posts.
A family member went through this last year. She would have moments of anxiety that would spike her blood pressure to dangerous numbers. The doc gave her blood pressure meds but they didn’t help because she would still have these moments of anxiety that would spike her bp. She finally agreed to take an anxiety med, (she had refused for months) and she is back to herself completely. We were all really worried but now she is fine. My point is that this is treatable and you will get better and I look forward to your future posts when that happens. 🙂
Get better. God bless
dont put too much worry in your mind, you’ll be fine. stay away from salt as much as you can,eat some raw garlic once in a while. i got hit with the same thing a month ago, good thing the med doesnt cost so much. it brought it down big time.it will do the same for you.trust me.i’m not the one for any processed foods, which truly is the root of it. along with heredity.i can live on olives and cheese and bread, now i gotta stop olives,it stinks,so i cheat smartly now, havent had a hot dog in almost three months since seeing the doc, which prolly is the hardest thing not to do.but hand made veal dogs, look out.the trade offs really arent that bad. take care
