My eyes are sore and baggy… one of the biggest disadvantages of trading stocks in Hawaii. I’ve been up ALL NIGHT!! I must have slept a total of 45 minutes. This is what I’ve been looking at for the past six hours…

Anyway, thanks to Roger for the tip on CHID, which is what I’m using as a swing trade. You going long? Other notable things I did today was listen in on TradeStation’s (TRAD) conference call, which was very well handled. I want to spend more time talking about this company because I’m fundamentally long on them. In fact, I added my first position on them today. Eventually I will switch over from Scottrade to Tradestation as my primary trading account. Tradestation is for programmers!

The Intuitive Traders Scorecard is updated. I will take yesterday’s price for Pacific Ethanol since I decided to “sell” it yesterday. I’m also considering closing ANDE, with the prospect to buy-back later. I also added Eldorado Corp (EGO) as a play on gold. Should I include my call on Nutri-System (NTRI)? Nah! I was just playing with the charts. Oh well.

Today I will analyze the swing trade and momentum picks I made yesterday. I think the best call I made was a pullback on Ballard Power Systems (BLPD), but I think a monkey could have figured that one out, well, not really, but I’ll show you guys the set up; a few buy triggers were set on the other calls so I’m anxious to see if the sell trigger will follow. Just as a disclaimer, I’m new to the real market and very new to the tech analysis methods, so this is all a learning experience. That’s my goal for now- develop a methodical approach to understanding and trading the market.

• I’m trying to read Titanium’s day chart. One tough stock!
• If you trade Oil stocks, circle April 28 on your calendar. Iran is in the spot light. I saw a huge volume swing in the oil etf USO today, could be a sign of people hedging against an $80 oil.
• I’m in the middle of developing a “TradeCramer” program. I’ll let you know how it goes.
• Another bearish case for Real Estate.
• I look at Kitco.com once a day.
• If you thought my $1,000 estimate was crazy, this guy thinks gold can be $6,000 per ounce!
• Maybe we should be trading Copper? Read the title: “all time high”.
