I like the following long ideas only on further strength this week. I recommend that you keep protective stop-losses on all trades, not much looser than 7-8% from where you initially buy. Also, please be sure to check earnings dates for any and all of your holdings.

In the event we see a further rally this week, here are some actionable long ideas which are heavily-shorted.

Please click the screen shot below for a larger view of my “12631 FINISH HIM! SHORT KILLER SCREEN” inside The PPT. Obviously these stocks are going to have the highest percentage of shorts and, according to the algorithm, are set up well to squeeze further.

If this bull goes buck wild, this is a great idea screen.

Late-cycle mover KO looks like an excellent long idea on further strength up and out of the long, sideways base within the context of the daily chart uptrend pictured below.

And on the short side, a few ideas on weakness: CREE IBM WEN.

Soft commodities remain in pullback mode, while junior gold miners lead a snapback rally in the precious metals and miners complex.

I noted this morning how I stopped out of my natural gas long, but crude oil is hanging in there after its attempted breakout yesterday. I am short bonds and looking for a break lower in a change of character from the dip-buyers enjoying constant success.

As far as equities, IBM looks like a viable short idea, threatening a rollover from its recent bounce. A move under $182 likely opens the floodgates.

On the long side, I am still keeping an eye on TRLA Z for short squeezes higher.
