I mentioned the relative strength in REITs on Wednesday, and looking at ESRT on the first chart below has me thinking the long sideways base since its October 2nd IPO has a good chance in breaking higher. I am looking for a move over $14.60 as a trigger, particularly if the REITs follow-through as a group.
On the other side of the coin, the controversial NQ looks ready for its next big move. After the Muddy Waters spike lower, we have seen a pretty textbook bear pennant formed, close to completion. Watch for resolution now.
And TK is a strong tanker stock, threatening a multi-week base breakout after a prior uptrend. I like it as a long idea on further strength.
Other than that, I will probably be looking to sell the final piece of my AAPL long into further strength tomorrow on the China Mobile news.
