Why does it make sense to have low buy volume as we drift up? Since we are in secular bear the buyers are hesitant to go all out? Or is this just the normal pattern from the past for cyclical bull runs within a secular bear?

I’m loving all the videos recently, please keep them coming!

Thanks, Tim. Less conviction in the market and economy at-large, tends to lead to cyclical bulls within secular bears drifting higher on low buy-volume.

Great video. I have wondered what is cyclical vs secular. I also watch volume and have always used it as a secondary indicator. Your explanation helps me understand why it was seeming less important than in the past. Just a different market. Thanks, I really learn a lot from you.

In my mind you are the best at big picture idea formulation and presentation. Great stuff. One more point, the “volume dilemma” is also whey when drops happen they happen large because there is little volume of holders to support it. Its clear on the indices and clearer in individual names.

Volume done in the market is just telling a small part of the volume story. Volume traded in Darkpools and OTC should be added.
