Backdraft (1991) is definitely worth checking out if you have never seen it. The film has a loaded cast and weaves together a story featuring gritty, memorable characters and action-packed scenes.

I caught this movie on HBO, Cinemax…a few weeks ago. What I liked about it is how it shows what it takes and what it’s like to actually fight a fire and how the fireman team culture gets it done..
There have been plenty of movies showing the inside world nature of being a cop, but Backdraft may be the best and only of the fireman genre.
