How bout F,GM, my hometown “S” holy shit the Gov don’t have time to deal with these little guys. How would you like to unwind GMAC and FM Credit about now….what a mess.
This was certainly a good call on the car companies, but in fact you could have named almost any stock a week ago, would have been a wonderful short. I’m not sure auto industry stocks really underperformed the rest of the market.
Thanks for the nice find — made some nice profits from this trade and will continue to hold the short position until I see some improvement in the credit markets (if that ever comes).
