Nice close, that.

Around 2 p.m., I added more NADL for $5.43. I posted inside The PPT but didn’t have time to get out here. Of course, NADL did not enjoy the relief rally, so no harm no foul.

I added a couple more percent into VOC for $9.94 and SXCP for $24.80.

Margin balance is about 112% and I am now down for the year.

I know, I am breaking every rule you think you know. Let us agree that you do not understand me and I am apathetic towards yourself. Shall we?

I am now down almost 2% for the year. I took a moment to celebrate this lunacy by nibbling on yet more BAS, for $13.50.

No, really though, who do you think Saudi Arabia’s super speculative intentions are going to hurt more? The United States? Or Venezuela, Syria, Russia, Iran, Iraq, Brazil, Nigeria, Algeria, Libya, Egypt, or Yemen?

Cool story: if you’re a country even close to revolutionary upheaval (or just strangled by an ill thought out safety net), the actions of Saudi Arabia are a death knell. And if there’s one thing we’ve seen pretty conclusively, it’s that countries that get tipped into a state of open revolution or political upheaval see their oil production drop…sometimes all the way to ZERO.

So let’s play chicken, you little shits.

I put a couple percent more into BAS for $16.00 a share.

Watching the oil market today was simply too stupid for my brain to handle. It is ground zero of a frenzy that is being fed by the weak. This is the time when predators should be having an all you can eat Retail Trader buffet.

In that spirit, I dipped into a 5% margin balance, this being for the first time in years.

I added to HCLP for $41.32.

I bought more BAS for $17.76.

And then I threw some VOC on top for $10.90.

It is incredible – indeed almost unthinkable – but I have gone from being up more than 20% this year to gains inside of 5%.

Now is the time to press the envelope.

I put another 5% into NADL for $6.51. Now NADL is a full sized position.

That’s it boys; fully invested here with a small single digits cash position.

If we go much lower, I will consider playing with margin, but that is like a 1987 style event.
