Trading insider knowledge is legal for congressman. It is only illegal for corporations. I am pretty convinced that congressmen make millions off this.
It’s also illegal for successful high profile women like Martha Stewart. Remember the aggressive vigor the SEC used to chase her down. She did prison time for trading and netting less than $600K if I recall. How many millions were made today ahead of the margin hike announcement? What a joke.
