I am going to Williamsburg this weekend to visit this magnificent piece of machinery. Although it’s super fucked up and anti Trump, I find it to be supremely comedic.
The British people are being regaled for having a ‘red faced insistence‘ for wanting to separate themselves from the very obvious failures of the EU. What this gent from the Guardian fails to acknowledge is the indelible fact that we’re up against the ebb tide. The effervescent days of transferring wealth from west to the east is coming an an abrupt halt. It’s not make believe when citing massive currency account surpluses in China and the Middle East, while accounting for a debt burden in the west that could literally bring it to its knees.
Once the printing presses at the ECB stop, it’s all over for the EU and Britain will be proven to be prescient for removing itself from the virus in Brussels.
Drivel from The Guardian
Think about those figures: a Britain that doesn’t make things, that can’t pay its way in the world and where two generations have been brought up believing that what your wages won’t pay, your credit will buy. As the promises for Brexit are broken and people get poorer; as the consumerist model breaks down, who do you think will pay the price?
The answer, I’d suggest, was on show in Birmingham last week. Without Brussels, the right still has one set of scapegoats left. They number the Muslim woman in the headscarf, the Pole in the wrong kebab shop, and the African cleaner on the nightbus.
This didn’t occur by happenstance, but by design — courtesy of globalism.
So, now that the west is moving away from a model that has proven to be suicidal, the pundits and the weak are bending to the rhetoric out of the east and the money changers who profit by hallowing out America and Great Britain.
This from the venerable WSJ.
Brexit is thus turning out to be a useful test case for deglobalization. Raising barriers to the free flow of goods, services, capital and people need not entail recession or panic. It may even redress some of the grievances behind the anti-globalization backlash. If Britain exports fewer financial services and more manufactured goods and tourism, the income gap between London and the rest of the country should narrow. In the end, Britons may be a bit poorer than if they’d stayed, but more self-reliant and more in control of their own borders. That’s the tradeoff.
Today’s pressure on the pound is both impressive and scary. It’s not an ordinary day at the office when Sterling drops 1.8% v the dollar.
Interestingly, we’re fast approaching the abberational flash crash levels at 1.18 reached briefly last week. The Dow is off by 180. I view the crash in the pound as something to talk about at night, scare the plebs from investing in the morning.
This probably helps him more than it hurts. By having an open ‘civil war’ with the republican speaker, it all but assures he can oust him if elected. Also, Ryan is widely regarded as an establishment republican, loyal to his 2012 running mate, Mitt Romney.
Ryan never supported Trump. He only held his tongue because it was politically expedient. After the Trump scandal hit, Ryan took that opportunity to denounce the Donald. This might end up backfiring on him.
UPDATE: Now he went after McCain.
The very foul mouthed Sen. John McCain begged for my support during his primary (I gave, he won), then dropped me over locker room remarks!
I view stuff like this far less cynically, than say the fuckery of John Harwood.
It is the job of the low workers at the Clinton campaign to contrast against Trump’s, in an effort to strike a difference that could be viewed as positive by whichever group they’re targeting. The democrats are masters at divide and conquer, readily using the discussion of race to gin up racism. The fact that we talk about race so often is part of the problem for future generations. By making note of the differences in Timmy and Tom’s skin color, it only serves as a wedge that will foment and deteriorate whenever both become hateful men.
It’s the very nature of man to hate. Give them a tangible reason to do it, and you’ll be sorry that you did.
At any rate, here is an email by a catamite in the Clinton camp wanting to contrast against ‘angry white men’ by having diverse crowds chant ‘USA’ at her rallies. If anything, this just goes to show you how staged and maniacle they really are.
With 85% of stocks lower today, I took a look at stocks with caps greater than $10b, in an effort to see where money is flowing.
Thanks to Samsung blowing themselves up, literally, Apple is rising. I mean, really, could you have a worse product launch than what Samsung did? That fucking phone burned down cars and houses. It nearly burned down an entire plane. Whoever designed that phone should be forced to live out the rest of his days in a FOXCONN slave factory for the rest of his life.
I see YUM is higher. That might have something to do with the fact that BWLD is serving fried chicken heads with tongues and beaks to star NFL players.
Other than that, gold is a notable defensive play here.
The never ending fear of the Fed has FX markets in a constant flux, which then spills over into stocks — causing great pain and agony. The entire world is undergoing QE, yet for some reason our Fed keeps threatening to hike rates. But they never do.
The pound is getting killed again and the dollar is reigning supreme over the euro. Dollar strength will become an issue for our benevolent multi nationals and emerging markets — should the trend continue.
Eighty five percent of stocks are lower today, with defensive stocks being somewhat of a safe haven. The issue with this market, the primary cause for my concern since 2014, is the violent manner of the squalls. You can work really hard for a year, picking the right stocks and doing good, and then lose it all in T + 3.
John Harwood is a very small man. He appears on CNBC once per day to espouse Hillary Clinton propaganda, which is fine if he were an anchor or reporter on MSNBC or CNN. I’ve had a bone to pick with this cretin for about a year — as he plagues my television with slimy partisanship, masking as hard news. If he were a true man and shot straight, he’d be Keith Olberman or Rachel Maddow. Those are real men, compared to this Harwood fellow — the antithesis of courage and bravery. I imagine he sneaks into his own home through the backdoor and purchases his groceries through the self checkout aisle — for fear of having to interact with other human beings. Like I said, he’s a coward of the first order — a very weak and inferior human specimen.
Bear in mind, these were just feelings that I had, after watching him infect my teevee with his brand of pseudo-journalism.
The good folks at Wikileaks, courtesy of Moscow, have released a treasure trove of correspondence between this ham and egger wanna be elitist and the H. Clinton campaign. BEHOLD, as I reveal the true and disgusting nature of this half of man bitch.
In response to the Clinton campaign writing a scathing note regarding the NYT coverage of the Clinton email scandal, Mr. Harwood sent a note to the campaign to congratulate them for a good letter.
Several weeks later, John contacted the campaign again to let them know that his master, Hillary Clinton, ‘looked so much more comfortable’ with Greenspan’s wife, Andrea Mitchel — as opposed to someone of lesser quality named ‘Brianna.’ Important shit.
When Clinton was beguiled by Sanders and dropping in the polls, Harwood dropped a note of concern to ask about how things were going. He’s a very thoughtful person.
After kissing up to the campaign, Harwood set up a lunch date in NYC with Mr. Podesta.
After feeling somewhat comfortable with Podesta, after months of servile obedience to Hillary, John manned up and asked for an interview — which he assured Podesta would be ‘deep and ‘textured’ — a ‘conversation about the economy that she (wanted).’
The Clinton campaign, in spite of Harwood’s subservient status, were not impressed with his amateur form of journalism, calling it ‘less substantive than promised.’ Good going, fuck-stick.
He then emailed John a worthless note of congratulations for her performance in Newton, as if Podesta gave two shits about his opinion.
To think that CNBC employs such a person to cover business related news is unconscionable. He is a partisan and a very low one at that. His parasitic blackguardly version of reporting is divisive and unprofessional for the venue which he’s paid to perform.
No person is more despicable in the media than John Harwood
Let’s examine some of John Harwood’s recent articles and videos on CNBC.com. This isn’t curated to simply show his overt, drunken, bias for Clinton. This is who he is, a ribald man — tossing out chunder to the people — dressing it up as news.
We all knew this to be true, the explicit bias of the media to work for the Clinton campaign. There isn’t an independent media in this country. This is agitprop bullshit and I’ll get into John Harwood’s ties to Hillary in the next post.
O’reilly is readying to expose the shillers for shilling.
I’ll let the citizen journalists of Twitter sort it out for us. Here are some of the noteworthy findings in Wikileaks’ second iteration of John Podesta’s email box — courtesy of Vlad Putin.

All of the commentary on $ILMN is utterly useless click-bait horseshit — strewn out and festooned all over the internet. As far as I can tell, growth is slowing at ILMN and the company woefully missed guidance. And as a result, the executioner is chopping off the heads of their shareholders in the after hours.
Illumina (halted) lowers Q3 sales guidance, guides Q4 sales below consensus — driven by a larger than anticipated Y/Y decline in high throughput sequencing instruments (184.85 +0.36)
Lowers Q3 rev to $607 mln (+10% Y/Y) from $625-630 mln vs $628.26 mln Capital IQ Consensus.
The shortfall in quarterly revenue was driven by a larger than anticipated year-over-year decline in high throughput sequencing instruments.
As a result, the company expects fourth quarter revenue will be flat to slightly up sequentially (from $607 mln vs. $684 mln consensus).
ILMN is one of the largest index members in the IBB — which is off by 1% in the after-hours. Something tells me that it will trade much lower tomorrow.
To put the valuation into perspective, courtesy of Exodus, ILMN was trading at a discount on a price to sales basis — compared to previous years. But, when compared to their large cap peers, the valuation is almost twice as high.
