Wood, you’re awesome.
Like them all for reasons other than techincals… But the charts make them all that more attractive
SM is a “Bakken” play aka Williston Basin
Oil in hugh quantities is being extracted from the Bakken. There is so much and gaining that they can’t transport it all. Huge reservoir numbers have been bandied about, but no real solid estimate. Only continued drilling will find the edge of this massive field, but estimates are in the billions of barrels.
With the price of oil bouncing I love a play like this breaking to new highs out of a bull flag.
FAST is one in March I highlighted as a buy I believe around 44 I believe. This one I had picked for mostly technical reasons, but fundimentals are still solid. A breakout to new highs would be great for another buy point.
MVL appeared on some fundimentals screen I did not to long ago. ROI, ROE, ROA, all good, earnings growth from same Q last year great. But what is most attractive with this is the combination of breakouts to new highs, low float, over 25% of the float is short, and over 30% is owned by insiders. A short squeeze is in order I presume?
Hattery, excellent additional research to consider for those stocks.
My comment was not posted for some reason ….
Earlier I said that I had done some research on Shale Oil/Gas and had three picks …
FWIW: CLR, SM & CXG provides good coverage all the major plays
Haven’t heard of CXG, thanks Employee8, I’ll check it out
Marvel prolly taking off due to the rave reviews Iron Man got last weekend, and I bet it led in box office as well.
One reviewer said it was the “best” thus far, in the Marvel franchise, and if you consider the Spiderman series has done over a billion to date…
