PWAV was my old company’s biggest competitor. Not a friendly rivalry, but a cutthroat one. Extremely cost sensitive applications with negative margins are not unusual. Nobody wants to pay for stuff.
I say they “were” the biggest competitor because the whole wireless sector is undergoing significant change as wireless providers (the companies PWAV is selling to) become competitors, i.e., cutting out the middleman.
PWAV has some attractive technology that may be worth something, or not. I rate the odds at going under vs being bought out at 50/50. No idea what will happen with earnings but long term I think it’s irrelevant.
Since I’m sure you’re curious… BP about 80 #s on a body weight of 132 #s.
