Lonely

So, faithful readership, it has sucked lately to get like 1/40 the amount of views. This is what happens when shitheads abuse something. See, we had a gentleman’s understanding here to come post honest words, with the integrity of gentlemen, and proper ladies.

Unfortunately, those who exercise a high level of vagrancy then smacked off the top hats of the righteous, ZenHunter, EM, Noodle, Redman, kcscott, Razor, Raul, Yogi, Eddy, etc. Please do not hate me if I didn’t mention you, I have serious add. V.King, dude, what the fuck? Haha, I don’t wanna put all the blame on you, just easy, because of the boss. Seriously folks, why do people always fuck up a good thing; the planet, guns, etc? Either way I will continue to blog here, and maybe on my own blog as well, just to try and get more traffic. I used to get a lot of input on my trades, before the last few days. I believe I lose an edge by not having this, so if I can increase the readership, I believe that is an asset, not just for my trading, but my blogging on this platform.

Suck this has to happen, but that is how it always goes. Humans are greedy, lazy, and dishonest, per the majority. The true gentlemen and ladies will continue to standout; on here, in The PPT, the #12631, and on Twitter. In the mean time, I feel as though trying to “save” is a defeatist attitude, I’d rather try to make more money. Thus, I am once and future.

  1. I’m hoping I fall in the righteous category and not the asshat one. But if I do, WE FIGHT!

  2. Nice post as you hit it here Rhino, it is damn lonely & thanks for the mention too. I know I have seen page view decrease exponentially. Damn vagrants are everywhere in life so I can understand the action taken by iBC crew as well.

Started a blog page myself where I can post other things but also post the info I post here at iBC. Needless to say, iBC created traffic like never before. Although the decreased traffic sucks, I never posted here for page views but posted here to be part of the community as I am sure others have as well.

Nice video too, been to several Social D shows, nothing like front row in a small club get crushed against the gate.

  3. Ha…after my Saturday night post generated < 100 views, I'm feeling your frustration. Granted, I'm not writing regularly, so I don't blame people for ignoring my post…but I digress…

I don't blame them for buttoning things down, as there was FAR too little actual writing going on here. The "blogger" network has turned into a combination of people actually taking time to write an article (the minority) and iBC News Lite. Now I have to scroll through like 38 posts that do nothing but link to another article to find (and read) the people who are actually taking time to write.

So, again, I don't blame them for reeling it in.

  4. I liked the viewership ego stroke too, but continue with the quality you bring, consistently, and it will build up naturally.

  5. fuck em… we make money trading stocks, not writing up bullshit… blogging about it gives us an edge and keeps our wives sane…

keep up what ur doing here.. I particularly enjoy reading your adventures in daily life with workout and diet shit; makes a more “human” approach to stocks and less of a pump and dump Timothy Sykes thing.. I joined iBC because of this personal touch it had with its commentary and blogs… without it, it’s just like any other stock site and Bullboard…

  6. you are all feeling the same as do others when they think of something that they want to convey on the internets. ie: back in 99 got this bug up my ass that i would put a few products up for sale on the net, t-shirt type graphics having to do with drums and stuff. did some ads in trade publications as well. i figured man, just think of how many people i could reach just on the nets. man the wheels were spinning like you wouldn’t believe. was just the opposite. thats when i started getting thoughts that the net,is just a re-incarnetion of the yellow pages,in a fucked up kind of way.and in a fucked up kind of way,it is.shit happens in waves to,if it were freezing cold outside the numbers would be different. it’s like seasonality in the ppt.things arent always that robust.and its the same for everything, but dont let that stop you from anything though, that just builds consistency.be that, and all should be fine.

    • you had me up until the “yellow pages” bit.

      • it is,and if your old enough, you’ll remember “party lines”. back in the rotary dial phone days. think about it for a while,it’ll ‘click’.

  7. Gent’s , I’m not that worried about it. The new format should be awesome.

    • I would consider the new format “as good as we plebs could have hoped for”.

Though I did like being able to click on my name on the front page in order to keep an eye on my posts/comments.

  8. See my comment on Redman’s recent post.

Best thing for Blogger Network peeps to do is keep it fresh, relevant, creative and promote the blogger network twitter account.

Right now it has 300+ followers. Without a doubt, blog traffic these days spikes due to Twitter links. Trust me.

I will be highlighting some bloggers in the BN to throw some attention your way. I did not abandon you.

    • I never thought you did man, I’m sorry for my last comment on my last post, I thought you were making fun of me for being proactive.

  9. Thanks for the mention Rhino
