Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (ADR) [[STP]] is bucking the trend this morning and has now cleared every moving average after breaking out of its descending wedge pattern:
Earnings were good this morning, the chart looks great and has a lot of free air in it, I’d like to think this one is going higher.
Comments »Yingli Green Energy Hold. Co. Ltd. (ADR) [[YGE]] is a stock I own, and a stock I want to buy more of on a pullback. As you can see from the chart below, the stock broke out from its symmetrical triangle pattern after earnings and is now pulling back to support.
You also have a bunch of moving average support underneath, which should provide a margin of safety. Should the averages (most notably the 50 & 100 day) fail, it will be time to exit.
I have been following solar closely over the past few weeks, and I am hearing the same thing in every conference call, companies have finally worked off their high inventory and margins are beginning to improve.

Comments »It feels like has it been a month since I’ve seen some action in the market. Last week was pretty much a wash for me, the week previous, I had to deal with family issues, but finally this week I am starting to see some traction.
So what did I do today? I bought shippers, AG, and solar, just like I said this morning were the sectors to watch. All are doing great with the exception of solar, I’m not sure why I still hang around in that space.
I bought Agria Corporation (ADR) [[GRO]] at the open, and am up nearly 20% on it, I bought Eagle Bulk Shipping Inc. [[EGLE]] this morning and has been preforming nicely, and I even gave my friend JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. (ADR) [[JASO]] another shout out. I also bought Skyworks Solutions, Inc. [[SWKS]] (All trades noted inside of The PPT).
The shippers and Agriculture are still the place to be, and I plan on holding these trades overnight. I will be buying more Yingli Green Energy Hold. Co. Ltd. (ADR) [[YGE]] on a pullback–favorite solar at the moment.
