Ag Is All The Rage

The sector recived some positive comments this morning and Agriculture is on fire yet again. Yesterday, I initiated a position in [[CGA]] , and today I decided to re-buy Intrepid Potash, Inc. [[IPI]] , so far both are doing well today.

Momo can still be found in names like Origin Agritech Ltd. [[SEED]] & [[CAGC]] , however I wound’t touch SEED unless it was on the short side– too far to fast.

The usuall suspects are breaking our today, Monsanto Company [[MON]] , The Mosaic Company [[MOS]] , & Potash Corp./Saskatchewan (USA) [[POT]] . And, I’m now starting to look at some of the machinery companies like Lindsay Corporation [[LNN]] .

I still think the sector has more juice and the tank with my top pick being Intrepid Potash, Inc. [[IPI]] .

Many financial names are hanging on by a thread, the leader Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. [[GS]] is broken (technically speaking), and many are near breakdown levels. I will be watching the financals for early clues on future direction of the overall market.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. [[JPM]] Topping pattern– series of lower highs. I will be watching to see if the $40.50 level holds.

Capital One Financial Corp. [[COF]] The last few weeks this one has been hanging on to the 50 day moving average for dear life. On Friday, the stock closed below the 50 day moving average, a move lower looks to be in the near future.

The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation [[BK]] Watch for a breakdown below $26

Zions Bancorporation [[ZION]] Breakdown below $12.50

optionsXpress Holdings, Inc. [[OXPS]] Closed below the 200 day moving average and sitting around support. Feel free to short on weakness.

Every morning, I  do a scan for the top changes in hybrid scores. This morning the screen caught Sequenom, Inc. [[SQNM]] early on, but for some reason I could not pull the trigger (I hate botech names).
