JASO Party + Other Wins

Today I am celebrating the JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. (ADR) [[JASO]] breakout, this stock has been the biggest lemon in solar and has been setting up to breakout for what seemed to be years, but the time has come, and coin was banked.

A measure move puts this thing about 3 bucks higher, around $7 bucks a share, not my target, but I’ll hold for now.

Next, [[DCTH]] , a stock in my long term portfolio is B’nTFO. A good friend of mine is big on the stock and says their technology ‘owns’, the company is in to curing liver cancer and analysts are expecting positive phase III data, today the stock is breaking out so I decided to add to my position for a trade:

A lot of great action has been found in Chinese names the past few weeks, and I believe that action may continue for the remainder of the year.

Here are two on top of my list going into tomorrow:

The first is [[CTFO]] , just replace the C with a B and you have a BTFO, I’m a buyer on strength:

The next one is [[CHBT]] , I like this one on strength and expect a bounce here of the 50 day moving average. This trade is easy to manage with the 50 day right underneath, that is where I would place my stop.

I feel like I’m back in my zone, as the market has rewarded me the past few weeks with the majority of my gains coming from AG. Finally, we have some sun shining on solar and my positions in YGE & JASO look great. I’m still not done with the two sectors, today I boght [[YONG]] @ 9.48  and may add to JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. (ADR) [[JASO]] — this one is not done.

I’m also looking at Titan Machinery Inc. [[TITN]] which owns and operates a network of agricultural and construction equipment stores. This one has yet to move with the group, but I think the time might be right here. I like the move above the 50 day today, and also like that it is firmly above the 200 day moving average:

Going through my custom screens inside The PPT, I am amazed at the quantity of charts setting up. Chinese burritos, Ag, solar, metals, & airlines continue to be smoking hot, even financails and real estate have been strong the past few days.

Could we be setting up for another move higher? Very possible, but the only thing that worries me are previous leaders like Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. [[GS]] & Apple Inc. [[AAPL]] . Maybe they’re just talking a breather, but I need to see the two get their act together before really getting behind the market.

Here are a bunch of bullish setups I will be watching tomorrow, I want to buy strength accompanied by volume.

I’ll start with metals/steel, a bunch of names are stating to show strength. [[GSI]] took off today, and I believe a lot of name are about to follow.

I like Fly’s buy in Century Aluminum Company [[CENX]] today, I’m a buyer on strength:

Gerdau SA (ADR) [[GGB]] looks great here, buy the strength:

How about a little Titanium Metals Corporation [[TIE]] in your life? Watch for a breakout:

If you’re looking to play the airlines, look no further than Southwest Airlines Co. [[LUV]] . This one has yet to move like the rest, but I think the time might be right:

Take a gander at Cal-Maine Foods, Inc. [[CALM]] , I think these eggs can move here:

Watching China Sunergy Co., Ltd. (ADR) [[CSUN]] here, what’s not to like here– China+ Solar. I’m a buyer here with a stop right below the 50 day moving average:

I’m embarrassed to say, but I bought some E TRADE Financial Corporation [[ETFC]] yesterday. The chart looks good here, a move above $1.75 is what I’m looking for:

Semis are gaining back some lost ground, take a look at the inverse head and shoulders on Marvell Technology Group Ltd. [[MRVL]] :

Also, take a look at one of Fly’s fav [[ENTR]] :

SMART Modular Technologies (WWH), Inc. [[SMOD]] , another semi, also looks good on strength:

Where has Dinosaur trader been? His favorite stock Gaiam, Inc. [[GAIA]] is breaking out:

Solar was strong yesterday, with many of the laggards showing strength. I will be watching to see if that strength continues.
