UP goes silver and gold!
Sorry, I only have a minute or so, and it took me a while to fix the pic (if it is fixed!).
Looks like the dollar is heading to at least $76 where it should bounce (no guarantees). That should give you an entry into some of my wild babies, like SLW, ANV, RGLD, PAAS, and maybe even AGQ if you have the gumption.
I also like IVN and of course NGD and almost any silver here. Buy quality if you can, however, so only do HL and CDE small, if at all.
I continue to become enriched, thanks to the above. Have you participated?
I will try to re-cap my DC adventures later tonight. Bizarre town, this is.

Bwahhahaha.
Is it officially hyperinflation when I am thinking of waiting to do my online shopping because CAD/USD exchange rate will be better for me if I just wait a little longer?
It’s hyperinflation, when stores change their pricing from $’s to gold and silver.
In Weimar it took only 2 weeks to go from “normal” inflation to hyperinflation.
With the tech today, I suspect it would take less time.
Does buying a minivan off my uncle, partially paid for by physical silver count?
“Does buying a minivan off my uncle…”
Count you as a piker? Yes, it does.
Guilty as charged.

Clearly you are a fool and your comments are irksome.
With the horse pills of prednisone i’m taking, i now have the power to melt your feeble brain-stem with a few flicks of the eyelash. Tread lighlty.
prednisone is a corticosteroid; not an anabolic steroid. best go back to the gym and get a refund.
what are you 12? go watch some cartoons.
You fargin retard. This will be the last time you adress me, lowly canadienne.
I know what i ingest. It is an anti-inflammatory steroid.
The lymphnode in my throat was the size Buick Le Sabre a few days ago.
As mentioned earlier, the side effects have given me super humn powers and i am more disgruntled than normal. You have been warned.
I am bullish on the price of silver over the next while, and wanted to benefit my uncle through a payment gift that will grow. I was thinking of getting a new Odyssey, but my brother just got one a few months ago and has had the front end rebuilt 3 times already and now Honda Canada are going to get him a different new van. Buying new looks to be a HEUGE hassle. My uncle was unloading one, and I figured why not get one with less hassle, low miles, no gst, and give the old unlce a forced silver investment? Beyond this, my wife didn’t want “that new car smell” because new car smell consists of potent chemicals that can settle into the brains of her little babes. I don’t know why I am defending myself to you, but I’ll reduce my volume of commentary for a while. Oh, and FUCK YOU!
Thank you for that diatribe … Jake, #6 and the other anonymous Gint brothers always get a charge out of seeing DMGint blow his tin foil hat (Charlie Sheen style) when in denial about his roid addiction …
Jake,
What’s your best guess at to when EXK gets taken out?
When? I have no freaking idea. Maybe never. I only put about 10% of my interest in that event. Chances are just higher in smalls than in bigs, is all.
_____________
Thanks for the updates during your busy schedule.
The Jake – what are your thoughts on The GSS?
Thoughts meaning, “don’t frown, double down” or “getridofit”?
I own a lot and my cost avg is about fitty cents higher than current price.
what he said
gold is battling today to keep the gold/silver ratio 41+.
Valiant, but all in vain, at some point
Jake,
thanks for all the updates. I think you will enjoy these pics of Ms. Hendricks

Sold out of AAU today. Looking to take some gains and add stops today.
Still have SLW, PAAS, RGLD, ANV, EXK & NGD. will probably trim NGD, EXK and maybe some PAAS.
Learned my lesson and won’t get fully out of the core positions of SLW and ANV
Don’t get fully out of EXK either.
__
After todays sales still have about 75% of SLW, RGLD, ANV, and EXK. Sold out of PAAS, NGD and AAU.
Also sold some MOO.
If we see a pull back I won’t be afraid to add to my PM holdings and possibly start a rare earth position.
Thinking any Rare Earth company in particular? I was thinking of some AVL http://avalonraremetals.com/ But haven’t finished looking around yet. thanks.
I’m intrigued by AVL, REE, GDLNF.PK, ALKEF.PK, or even the etf.
Put a lump of QSURD on that …
Anybody thinking about getting into coal about now? IVN looks like it has some coal exposure, but I don’t know if it could be considered a coal play. What do you like about IVN, Jake?
The PPT was really good for finding companies in specific industries you were interested in, but didn’t want to spend days and days searching for. Probably a good time to get back in there.
IVN is more a copper play with a nice gold kicker …
> The company has built an estimated resource (measured and indicated, plus inferred) of 81 billion pounds of copper with a monster gold kicker of 46 million ounces.
Okay, thanks Teahouse.
Hey, where did the edit function go? I meant to say it was probably a good time for me to get back into the PPT, that is (I wasn’t referring to anybody else)
Jake, I wrote an article about PMs I want you to read –> http://stk.ly/f4W6tF
Pure gold, that article.
Interesting, but also interesting that gold came back down after that event. I bought in 2001, at under $300.
What conclusions do you draw from it today?
I think that article I linked to was written in 2001 as well. Basically, what they said, is that if gold can reclaim above the IMF news, than the bull is absolutely confirmed. IOW, it was acknowledged that the price fell back, but the cause and spike were very noteworthy it seems at the time.
I think the sudden spike was faded for a variety of reasons, mean reversion, arbitrage, whatever, but what it was indicative of in the long term sense was tinder for the pm bull. After all, not have banks fade the price is obv helpful.
The conclusions I draw today are:
– if the IMF announces that they will lease gold again, the price will fall, possibly by 30% in 12 days (why not?).
– Essentially, ZIRP and the IMF leasing are the core underpinnings of the move. Until those two fundamental drivers change, all dips are a buy.
thanks Anton!
Jake, What are your thoughts on holding NGD through earnings in Friday?
“There will be growth In the Spring!.”

JG-
Dinosaur Trader posted this on fly’s blog. Did you get a chance to read it (possibly between games of “Wet Slap the Probable Democrat” while in DC?) Interesting if nothing else.

You’d run out of water in DC playing that game.

This is interesting, too. An interview with Ted Butler by a radio station out of Ann Arbor –
Interview With Silver Analyst Ted Butler He goes into all the uses for silver we have today that we didn’t use to have and so it is well worth a listen.
“Lastly today, is this longish interview [probably 30 minutes or so] with silver analyst Ted Butler by Dr. Dave Janda over at WAAM 1600 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Anything that Ted has to say, is worth listening to. He hardly ever publishes anything in the public domain anymore…so this is your chance to hear it from the horse’s mouth. It’s a must listen…and the link is here.”

Danny, I enjoyed reading your blog entry you posted above, as well.
Thank you Chanci.
Hope you guys will all stop by occasionally, old friends and new friends welcome.
Great article Danny!
thanks a lot Hawaii! Hope things have been going well for you lately.
This kind of reminded me of our Motorcyle Artist.
Good to know there are still some people doing art for art’s sake.

Ok, as a monster boxing fan I cannot believe nobody said anything about this pic being from Ali’s KO of Liston in round 1 in Lewiston Maine by the “phantom punch”. Added trivia bonus, former champ Jersey Joe Walcott was the referee.
Ali is a local man here. Got a street named after him, despite his Viet Nam era antics.

That is a legendary pic. Nice work, GYSC.
