Most of the time I’m giving you the long term perspective, which is what you should be thinking about with regard to the Jacksons.
But I figured it might be novel — more pulp fiction than Doestoevsky — to show you what I’m watching on a intra-day basis.
For example I’ve been waiting for a couple of days for [[GDX]] to break out of this pullback downtrend. You can see the targets I’ve illuminated for the short term.
The downside to this analysis is that it can turn to garbagio faster than a blues singer on meth. So it will be an interesting — if short term — experiment to see how this play works out over the next few days.
The key, I believe, will be whether the volume picks up here, or dies out as the dollar finally rallies. Stay tuned.
How much longer can they afford the dollar to get ass raped before saying something in support of the $ (again) or god forbid actually doing something like raising rates? My guess is they will make an obligatory statement within the next few weeks …they will never cop to the real intent of letting it weaken in hopes of goosing exports not to mention the effect it might have on the millions of out of work citizens.
I don’t think they dare mess with rates yet… not this close to Christmas.

I tell you what — our WR’s are better this year than they were then. Unfortunately, it looks like our defense is a lot worse off.
And no Spagnola (now the coach of the Rams) — that kills us every time, losing our defensive coordinators like that ( in order — Parcells, Bellichek, John Fox, Spagnola).
Our new dee coordinator doesn’t like to blitz the kitchen sink like Spags used to…. that killed us yesterday against Brees.

I am looking over the Jakesians and trying to find some ‘Rare Earth’ ( the extreme end of the preciousness of metals) plays. I am pretty sure I saw a molybdenum producer at one point, but I am not sure. You got any terbium, ytterbium or thulium on your books or in your mind, Jake? I hear that dysprosium is pretty dysprositos these days, and makes a nice hybrid car too, if you actually like that kind of thing…
I want to say TCK encompasses all of those, including lithium, but I have also recc’d SQM for that.
TC is almost pure moly.
