Dedicated to the memory of Matt G and John W, two young fathers murdered by fell beasts on September 11th, 2001. May God bless them and their families, as well as the families of all those left grieving that day.
Your turn with the ball now, hippies, don’t drop it.

Thanks… for mentioning their names, Jake. It’ s how they should be remembered and not as numbers to a total.
No, they won’t be forgotten.
In case I missed the post…quite possible…you still in MON? Where do you think it goes from here?
Yes, while annoying, MON is a long term hold for me. I’ve held it since about $17, split adjusted.
I think it’s likely to go to $77, at least here, where I may pick up some calls. It could go all the way to the 50% long term fib of $74.85, however.
This is a “for your grandchildren” play., so stock up if you haven’t already.

Our flags are out
Good man.
_________
Our buddy Fly was right there that day……..I’m certain it impacted his life way more then we can imagine.
I still to this day cannot conceptualize what took place that day …and never will.
Our flag flies everyday. I still can’t talk about the day and those following. I was in the heartland on the “day” and had a very, very long drive back east.
Similar experience, I was in Denver and drove straight thru to South Carolina (because of the airline shut down). Very proud of the heartland those days.
I will never forget and I will teach my son to remember.
On 9/11/01 I was in a meeting discussing my candidacy for seminary. The meeting was interrupted when a woman rushed in and turned on the radio. The meeting dissolved in the most peculiar way, as the theologians were at a loss for words. I never went to seminary.
I went home and sat in front of my TV for 20 hours, punctuate only by calls from friends letting me know they were alive.
Jake, for you and the families you honor above, and the scores of others who did not receive those calls, for those that live with the loss, I remember you in my prayers today.
Thanks, man, means a lot to remember.
_______
Thoughts on MON at this level Jake?
See above.
Duh, Sorry I must be blind. Picked some up at $78.00 will add when appropriate
Thanks 🙂
You will be happy w. that pickup, I think. Maybe not immediately, but eventually.
_______
NGD looking very good here at $5.03 or so.

Jake
just read a seeking alpha artcl on MON:
Downgraded by several on shrinking earnings. Will be exiting Roundup and the chinese copiers. 85% futuere earngs due to seed and genome sectors.Your thoughts on its downward directn- wait?
I think I have addressed this already, but once again: The future of this company is not that bullshit Roundup.
Can I be clearer?
Fuck Roundup.
The future of this company is seed traits — the value is in the IP and the stranglehold they have on the increasingly profitable American farm industry thanks to their ability to make farmers’ fields turn into lettuce bonanzas.
And that’s “lettuce” in the old 30’s movies gangster parlance — meaning “dollars.”
Wait if you like, it could go to $75. I will be buying there for sure if it does.
Or rather, “adding.”

JG, couldn’t you make a case AA is one of those “grandchildren” stocks that you should buy now at these prices and then just fuggitaboudit until you wake up in year 2030 (or in my case 2050) with tuitions paid?
I wouldn’t trust AA with my grandchildren, as it is a documented child molester.
That said, perhaps a responsible company could buy them out.
Ian (Mom’s broker) loves them. This could be good or bad.
I still hold a small position, as it wil likely pop with dollar death.
___________
Jake,
Any thoughts on TBT?
Shouldn’t it be rising with the falling dollar?
You would think, wouldn’t you? Puts me to mind that some funny bidness is going on.
I remarked a couple of days/weeks back that it had broken a serious fib (at about $47.15 if I recall) and that it would likely travel to about $44.90 before bouncing again.
It got to about $45.06 on the low today before putting in a very nice doji and closing at $45.98 on strong volume.
We might-could (sic) (that’s “Southern” talk) hit $44.90 on Monday, but I expect we’re drawing to a close on this downward motion.
I will likely add on Monday, in fact, as I am still at a half position.

Who was that dickhead defending Acorn a while back? After you mentioned them getting ~ $5 billy from the bailout?
Really? I almost find that hard to believe, as I would’ve remembered it, I think.

Yeah, well, to his credit, Ottnot has been making himself mighty scarce since The Chicago Machine installed itself in the White House. I am hoping, that like Moober, he is having second thoughts about his choice.
Sometimes, when you want something so badly you become willing to overlook some very ugly baggage.
I hope this will be a warning to some of our Dem compatriots with brains — In all things, due diligence is paramount, and associations — taken in the aggregate — are a noteworthy point of investigation.
____________
The good news takeaway is that these recent damning indictments will preclude these thugs from being able to corrupt the national Census as planned.
One can only hope that RICO indictments are soon to follow, and like the American Mafia, ACORN will be revealed for what it truly is.
____________
Yes. Fairly soon we will start to see actual charges being made against those responsible for the 9/11 crime.
It’s going to be a real eye opener.
You mean KSM?
(I hope, as this is a “truther free zone”)

New Post, btw —————->>>>
Not sure what you mean. I’m sure the truth will play an important role in the prosecutions. If there were murderers in the grassy knoll, they know their time is limited.
Again, be clearer.
If you cannot be clearer, at least remember to take your medicine.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure it all out Jake. There are literally thousands of Architectural Engineers investigating the nuances of the collapsing structures for the purpose of understanding their science. Many thousands of historians are assembling the precursors, facts, figures, and followup activities of the various players. The bow waves from all this activity happening regarding the event alone will be enough to send shivers up the spine of those responsible.
People just don’t attack the United States and get away with it. It’s not over.
Yes, I’m familiar with the truther weal.
Please get help.
