good thing there is a “future” hope. The military spending will go down w/Obama. thus, my long put on NOC. Just imagine if the WORLD would stop 2 days of anything related to military expenses it could feed the whole world for generations.

stucktrader, that may be true, but we’re already clearly overpopulated. What you’re forgetting is if we fed the world, the population growth rate would probably double, and it’s already exponential.
By 2012, we would be so over populated that we would all be starving to death, as the sun’s solar cycle increases towards it’s peak in 2012 and land becomes arrid waste, and food becomes so scarce that those that have it are forced to hide it from everyone, increasing violence and wars, until people eat each other to death and we all die anyways.
Now if they spent that money on a few nukes, after a period of serious fucking shock and suffering we all get to live in excess again.
We’re fucked either way!
