Good stuff, thanks Chess.
Mark douglas is just an author that does not trade. like lewis. gutfreund will fuck them in hell.
Thanks Chess. I read Mark Douglas’ book Trading in the Zone a few months ago and really found it helpful. I would recommend to anyone who is struggling with the mental aspects of trading.
Understanding the concept is one thing; but you also need to embrace the concept thru daily “application” in order for the concept to become part of your trading mindset; otherwise, it is like understanding certain martial art blocking concept without practicing.
Ask yourself if you’ll be ready mentally when a real punch is heading your way (if you are a martial art student) or a trading loss is coming to your mental stop loss point (if you are a speculator/investor). If you are not, then you need to PRACTICE, PRACTICE, and PRACTICE on applying the concepts.
In summary, understanding the concept is akin to finding the right school to the path you are pursuing; now you need to graduate from the school before moving on.
