Splunk Inc. (SPLK) was one of a handful of young tech stocks to watch in the back half of 2013 earlier this year in my Weekly Strategy Session. Clearly, Wall Street loves the firm’s growth prospects, as well as the sector at-large. Other names to watch include: BLOX CSOD DATA EPAM.
Apart from that, the market is flattish with breakouts on the slow side.
Two heavily-shorted issues to watch for upside are: HLF P.
Note that Herbalife has been consolidating reasonably well under its prior highs from 2012. With both stocks, you have well-defined levels below against which to trade and place stop-losses (horizontal light blue lines).
