    Damn I got caught up at work and missed that you were taking charts requests. I have recently been reading some of your old blog posts on Double Dip Trader. I have read your posts every day since you joined IBC. History does not repeat itself but it often rhymes. Looking at past points in this market cycle helps me improve my technical analysis skills. I have learned a hell of a lot from you which I am very grateful for. I recall seeing that you wanted to make a long term bet on CXW. Please forgive me for asking a question after I missed your request but I am at loss on something. I was hoping you could help. I have owned CXW sine the low $30s. They announced a special dividend of $6.63 and it went x-dividend today. Does that alter the technical picture? Or does a special dividend wreck the stocks chart? It looks awful to see a stock gap below the 200 day MA. Should I treat this same an earnings implosion. Many thanks for the awesome work you do.

      thanks, ctb-generally I take the technicals at face value regardless of a special divvi. Nice job on CXW–I’d lock in at least some of those gains here with the broad market corrective.
