Enough of this trophy for every kid in tee ball business, and parents trying to be their kids’ best buddies rather than authority figures. Kids need discipline. Mr. Wizard is the man.

Last night at basketball practice a kid asked at what point in season I stop being demanding. Another girl answered: “Coach doesn’t let up.” The rest of the girls nodded in approval. It’s the only route to their respect. Last year at homecoming we had a running clock against a school with more talent; they were coached by a wimp who had been steamrolled by parents.
