Although I usually reserve my Saturday night selection for films, I want to point out quality television as well. Quantum Leap is a series than ran on NBC for five seasons, from 1989 through 1993. Starring Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell, the show has a great setup for an original episode each time, with Bakula playing a scientist traveling through time as different people. Despite the fact that I am not a huge fan of science fiction, this show really is that good, to the point where you should definitely check it out.

Unfortunately, in order to save his funding, he was forced to enter the accelerator prematurely and vanished. He then found himself in someone else’s body with partial amnesia. Setting right things which once went wrong, Sam leaps from life to life, hoping each time that this is the final leap home.
