I see headlines all the time now about U.S. Post Offices closing for a variety of financial reasons, as well as with the emergence of email and private sector carriers. These closings are in stark contrast to the rapid growth seen in U.S. Post Offices in the 18th and 19th centuries. I wonder if we will ever go back to Post Office growth again. there does need to be the next big thing that can put people to work that were laid off as life switched to online goods and services ..
