Got This One Wrong

I took my loss, and sold out of my $AAPL (@ 421.75) position from $430, dumping my calls and stock. What’s unsettling is the gain I had in it at one point near $470, and the fact I rode it all the way down and then some. For that reason, this goes down as my worst trade of the year.

Feel free to buy my loss. I’m sure this marks some sort of bottom in the stock.

BCRX making the pain subside. however, it’s not the money that pisses me off, it’s how I played it.

Yeah, we’ve all done that. Some of us more than once or twice.

You weren’t wrong if your original plan with $AAPL was for long-term play. The wide stop and profit give-back were part of the game.

However, if it was a swing play all along, yes, this post of yours made sense.
