Flu stocks moved today on above average volume. Here are a few that made my watchlist, keep them on your radar.
[[CVM]] Full disclosure, I own this one, and will be adding to it on strength:
[[HEB]] Here is one I played today, bought in @ 0.77, when the volume arrived, and looking for further strength tomorrow. This one could run if it can get into gap:
[[BCRX]] Closed above the 50 day today, but still has a lot of overhead resistance:
Rite Aid Corporation [[RAD]] This is a stock I am up on and debating if I should let it roll into earnings. The charts looks damn good, if somehow Wednesday’s report is bullish, this one could rip further. However, with that being said, I will likely sell tomorrow:
PPT members, remember that you can always search user notes with key words like swine flu, here is the link. This is how I found [[INO]]
And, SC takes the lead after the first quarter in the 2010 Championship game.

im in the same boat with you with $RAD. Hopefully we get a nice little move tomorrow to sell into. The chart does look amazing.
yep, would love to take profits on a nice move tomorrow.
CVM, HEB, INO, BCRX are all crappy stocks fundamentally with lots of hype and no substance. The consolidation patterns they are in now are just as likely to break down as to break up. They can run up on more hype of course, but don’t overstay in them. SVA and NVAX are more fundamentally sound ones.
indeed. no follow through today.
SNV upgraded. RAD pop.
piggybacked your IPI call, bought $28.90 Thursday, sold today $30.57.
Thanks RC! Hat tip in your general direction.
Roll some of your profits in CNOA, another small ag name I like. Bought some today @ 0.79
sounds good to me, starter position established, 1000 @ 0.78
also added OME at $5.75
so many wins today.
IPI, TSTR, ETFC, DCTH. Great day! New car for the wifey.
RC- I have this question I keep wondering about– why do men say “the wife” instead of
“my wife”? What is that about? thx (I asked one sales guy who came by our house because he mentioned “the wife” but he just went blank when I asked him) As far as I know, my husband
“the husband lol” has never said that, but maybe he does if I’m not around ha ha? thx
I refer to my wife in third person, because she is superior to me. Sort of like why we call Fly, The Fly.
Hope this helps, keep bringing your charts to my attention in The PPT, you have a good eye.
lol– just read this to the husband (i think i only have a “good eye” from what i’ve learned from the amazing mr. lee)
indeed, he is a great teacher.
I like the Irish third person version — wives call their hoosbands (sic):
“Himself.”
