All The RGR Estimates Will Be Demolished Tomorrow

RGR is reporting its first crop of earnings since the Sandyhook tragedy and the major push for gun control got underway. I’m looking around the room, and I’m seeing earnings getting lifted by 10% from the last round. And after that? Some analysts are even showing EPS dropping within the year. Look, let me ask you something, point blank.

Are you people out of your fucking minds?

You need to understand, Mr. Bloomberg analyst; I hate your guts.

It’s not that I have anything against your business don’t like you disrespect you…okay you know what, I’ve tried starting this sentence three times, so I’m just gonna call it quits here.

The problem is that you are a gigantic pussy. God it feels good to finally say that! Enough of this PC bullshit.

You are a gigantic bitch. You little New York dwellers hang out on your tiny little island with your thirty five thousand armed guards and no sense of how the rest of the country operates. You get all caught up in ten thousand fake Twitter handles that #DemandChangeNOW and miss, subsequently, what is staring you right in the face.

And why do you let this happen to yourselves? So that one day, maybe, Mike Bloomberg will say “hmm” to you while you shuffle breathlessly out of his way to the bathroom.

Now let me show you why your estimates are complete garbage

This is a real gun store, unlike the imaginary ones you’ve never set foot in

Now, do you notice how I can almost count on two hands how many guns they have left in this case?

You are busy lifting earnings estimates for gun manufacturers by a paltry 10% and meanwhile, gun inventories have been sacked by >80%. In this particular store, this was one case. They had another five that looked exactly like this. I can count on one hand how many Ruger handguns were left for sale. And meanwhile, you can only bring yourself to lifting EPS estimates by 10%, while viciously penning that “Bloomberg employee loyalist” piece hyping the ‘dangers’ to gun stocks that will just absolutely materialize from legislation and judiciary action. And of course reminding everyone that these sales levels cannot continue indefinitely.

DO YOU THINK I CARE IF THEY EXTEND INDEFINITELY!?

The company just sold a years’ worth of firearms in a fucking month. And, I revel in revealing this to you, but you’ve got two years until the midterm elections, and at the moment Republicans are looking vulnerable. That’s two years during which gun enthusiasts can panic and buy as many weapons as their budgets can handle. Two years, before you have any chance of stemming the flood, too…

RGR is backlogged with demand. They have so much F-ing demand, they need to expand their borrowing capacity just to try and keep up with it. Why, just Thursday they signed an agreement with Bank of America to expand one of their lines of credit by $15 million. You can expect more of that sort of thing, I can assure you. That’s at least 30,000 more weapons being made, all on sales that are being satisfied, really, before manufacturing or wholesale.

Think about that in shame the next time you think of writing up one of these moralizing trash pieces.

Can’t Hear You, Gun Controlists

I am sorry, but as I’m just too busy making fat stacks off of RGR right now, I’m having a little trouble hearing your moralistic, hopeless pleas. See, the Assault Weapons Ban is dead. Reid (The Great Gunman, as he is known amongst his friends) devoured it; taking it into his belly. And it died.

Now I’m sure Piers Morgan will keep running his fat mouth for at least another 6 months, talking to walls about the need for gun reform (we should be so lucky to have the violent crime rate of the UK…). But that’s just because Piers Morgan doesn’t have anything better to do.

I came across an article today waxing about the inevitable need for “civilized countries” to surrender their firearms. As if it were a part of evolution to a higher form of life. The paper’s logical conclusion? Better sell all your firearm stocks.

The winter breeze leaks through the window’s glass, creating an icy current across my cheeks. Standing before it, looking at the cloud cover outside, a smile creeps across my lips.

Your “Socially Responsible Investing” is horseshit. It’s an elaborate fraud, whereby you take the hard earned money of others and sink it into your wildest fantasies – just after scalping a healthy 4% in management fees off the top for yourself. You are silver tongued snakes, and I am a man with an axe. I live to split you in front of your “clients” (read “yuppy”).

Bought Back RGR

Okay, I played it like a rookie, trading the open, but it won’t matter.

RGR is going back above $60, and will be making new highs in short order.

If it dips, I’d be willing to buy more, but only by offsetting elsewhere.

I’m running hot right now with no cash. And we are going higher.

The Future Of RGR And Guns In America

HIGHER

The Obama gun control announcement was a complete non-issue for gun manufacturers. The Executive Orders, the only part of this that I ever feared, was stuffed full of common sense, passive actions that no one was objecting to in the first place.

And Obama acknowledged (which is always half the battle with him) that any attempt to restrict magazine capacity or ban “assault weapons” (read “any gun that looks scary”) must start in the Legislature.

Reid and Boehner are just FIGHTING with each other over who gets to start that process…

Oh, wait no they’re both punting.

Meanwhile, Obama’s actions, surrounding himself with children like a 20th century totalitarian on crack, before announcing this set of soft measures, have fired up the gun owners and political operatives who haven’t quite worked out yet that this isn’t a big deal.

The gun buying craze, which is pre-empting future government action that probably isn’t coming, will run voraciously until it exhausts itself. And ironically, a push to try and reign in weapons will have inadvertently put a lot more of them into circulation.

On a pullback, I will consider adding back RGR to my portfolio. By this time next year, it will be making new highs.

RGR GOES APE SHIT

I have to commend the gun-reformists on making me and the rest of the “child murderers” rich as fuck. RGR is now well above +20% gains from my bottom-ticking buy in December.

I can only lay the gratitude for this bounty at the feet of Obama, Biden, Piers Morgan, and the city of Chicago. Thanks to their obnoxious paternalism and almost knee jerk grab for the most childishly simplistic solution available, tens of millions of people can’t order firearms fast enough.

This is Chik-fil-A all over again. Those of us who absolutely love pointless rules, poorly worded laws, long discussions to nowhere, and big “cozy feeling” bodies of public aid workers (especially if they have flashy titles) are just determined to “punish” the rest of us with blessings of blow out, “never-been-this-profitable-before” quarters.

I am obliged to accept these “punishments”. Please, “punish” all of my stocks with record sales. For surely I deserve it…

Biden is currently in negotiations with that dreaded lobby group the NRA – which is most definitely not “grassroots”, nor does it represent anyone (perhaps with the one little exception of at least 30 million of the 60+ million gun owners in this country).

Meanwhile, the most recent Gallop poll shows a majority of Americans *shock* still don’t support the assault weapons ban. That’s probably just from the fact that anyone with 5 minutes of free time and an Ethernet connection can conduct enough research to convince themselves that the last one accomplished nothing.

I’m sure such inconveniences will easily be bridged by our hard working, “much much smarter than you”, US press corps – diligently glossing over any story that doesn’t strictly conform to the favored New York City message (don’t own guns, just use the money from your NYSE to hire 35,000 armed police…)

Meanwhile, I wait with anticipation for the next Piers Morgan interview. I’m told this time they intend to drag in an 11 year old girl with tourettes, the tire from an ’04 Stratus, and some road kill for him to show off his amazing debate skills on, in real time of course.

Go get ‘em, Piers…
