Cocktail Party Acts of Levitation Aside, You Suck
__________________________
… So this won’t be long.
My damn Junkees left 423 guys on base tonight, mostly because they just didn’t feel like running them very hard. They weren’t very stellar in the field, either, despite being at home.
Oh yeah, and I really, really dislike A-Roid.
I don’t care how damn good he is in the regular season, the guy is a choker. Plain and simple. You gotta perform on the big stage, Gayroid, or you’re nothing to me. Your 600 home runs mean so much cow shit. Go screw.
You suck.

There, that is that. As for today, I’m disappointed about that too.
You see I tried to get cute. I went and bot 10k shares of EXK and 8k shares of AG at middle of the day prices. Then I doubled my order at a substantial discount to my market order. I did the same for AVL. I got zero AVL as a result and not filled on my second half of the other two. I have a feeling that will cost me in the morning.
Meanwhile, I kept my QLD and the GDX and GDXJ that I bought yesterday.
That is all. I leave you now, grumbling into the night.
Go (NY Football) Giants.

Addenda: I’m pretty damn disappointed in this guy too (hat tip to DGM) :

Me too.
Granted, I didn’t expect Valverde to blow his 1st save of the year(out of 51 attempts) tonight either.
They had plenty of chances before they saw him.
Blew it.

Agreed, I was just referencing Gayroid.
FOX just placed a call to Bud Selig’s office begging (bribing) him to “find a way” to get Philly through to at least the NLCS, and preferably the WS.
Nothing says “Fall Classic” like Detroit v. Arizona. That said, as an actual baseball fan who doesn’t give a shit about ratings and can’t stand Boston, NY and Philly…I’d love to see that.
I wouldn’t mind seeing Detroit-Philly. I’d love to see the Tigers knock off the two favorites.
Although the Phillies pitching does scare me, the Cards have shown they’re not infallible.
Philadelphia not winning a World Series with that fucking pitching staff would be a much more egregious failure than the Yankees. NY can (could) score a shitload of runs and was lights out with a lead after 6…but their starters are like a C+ at best.
I’ve watched a lot of baseball, I don’t give a shit how many runs you score in July…if you don’t have 2 (preferably 3) starters who can shut teams down, you aren’t winning a World Series.
The Yankees main problem was that even their Ace sucked bawls this series.
________
Detroit-Philly with Detroit #winning would be interesting.
hoping for some change!
Look, I don’t like Obama, but that video had hilariously cherry-picked data… Comparing any prices to January 2009 is just meaningless
You’re going to have to be more specific than that to prove you’re not really an Zerobama supporter.
For example, the whole piece was to illustrate how things haven’t gotten any BETTER since 2009.
________
Fine, things haven’t gotten any better since 2009. But videos like this can be too easily picked apart… It doesn’t help the cause. come on, comparing gas prices in Jan. 2009 versus today? Inflation in Jan 2009 versus today? This doesn’t tell us anything. We were in the middle of a commodities crash!
You don’t think Obama’s EPA and land management restrictions haven’t had any effect on gas prices?
We’re in a recession, they shoud be DIRT CHEAP.
They’re not becuase of that asshat and his green bullshit.
__________
Everything that is wrong is Obama’s fault! And when a republican is elected everything that is wrong is his fault too!
Land management restrictions! That is why gas is so high!
Gulf restrictions, mostly. The rest is just general abhorrence for any carbon energy.
Can’t have it both ways — Ie, non-dependence and non-drilling.
______
Really? Ok, oil is declining… let’s wait a few months and revisit this argument. If oil goes back to $50 and Obama hasn’t changed a single thing regarding EPA and land restrictions, what will that do to your argument?
Come on, the oil market is not being influenced one bit by Obama.
Here’s Obama’s short-comings. He is chief executive. People forget their basic 2nd grade social studies classes. Chief executive is the country’s #1 cop, essentially… he shouldn’t be focusing on writing policy. That’s for Congress to do. He should be ENFORCING the laws, which he has failed to do on an epic scale… and I’m talking about the financial industry.
I lean liberal socially, conservative fiscally, but I’d prefer a good cop in office over everything else, rather than someone who shares my views on anything from gun control to abortion. I hope 2012 produces that cop.
Unfortunately, Obama takes his role as “Domestic Cop” a little too seriously. The EPA is only one of his oversteps, there’s an alphabet soup of agencies that have been given their police power head by the Obama Administration. The DOJ, and by tangential compromise, the ATF are embroiled in a scandal that’s been breaking for months. The Solyndra folly is an other example of the Boss mentality that has characterized the OA since it’s inception.
His whole act is a version of The Big Policeman. Unfortunately, he’s far more enthralled with being the Big (Brother) Policeman of his domestic constituents than he is our foreign antagonists.
_______________
GGGGGGGGGGGGGGRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!
You cannot defeat “The Goat-tee”
That is the most distasteful thing I’ve seen since General George Pickett made his fateful charge.
___________
lol
The ghost of Denny McClain cometh.
Detroit-Cards, with Cards winning it.
JG – you buying AGQ now that it’s $120+?
I’m not, but I may today. I’m focussing on trying to buy more SIL and EXK/AG right now.
________
I was going to mention AGQ…Ill be buying above $129 if it can make it!
Agreed, A-Rod is just like a 21st Century Dave Winfield.
Worse than Winfield.
Because they expectations are higher, as he’s the highest paid player, etc.
_______
The protestors in Wall Street are worrisome. If it were a real protest against corporate cronyism then I could potentially get behind the effort. Unfortunately this is a dangerous movement orchestrated via the White House, Unions and Soros to continue the desire to destroy the system.
Rush reported: “a very prominent person asked me to never mention his name in this regard, but for months he has been telling me, ‘You watch, Rush, do not doubt me,’ he said to me, ‘Obama is setting up riots. He is fanning the flames for riots and eventual violence. That’s all he’s got.'”
Rush is making that shit up? Well, what exactly do we have now?
Look at the agitators: Unionists, community organizers, Marxists, Communists and socialists. None have the best interests of this country in mind.
The unemployed fine arts degree holders whining about the man owing them a job are simply “useful idiots”. They don’t even know why they are there except that *someone* *somewhere* owes them a job because they got a degree and they are 70K in debt.
Some interviews from the street are shocking in the bigotry against Jewish people. This is liberation theology in action.
We have a gangster government. Harry Reid pulled the nuclear option out of his bag to prevent Republicans from forcing votes on uncomfortable amendments. Pathetic. Dems are cowards.
This government is taking down this country. Best wake the eff up.
I’m heading to support Gibson Guitars in Nashville on Saturday. Gotta make a stand against tyranny. Or, you know, do nothing and watch this place burn to the ground.
Awesome. Are you a Nash-Vegas or Memphis resident?
We should get together one of these days. I am in both cities quite a bit.
BTW – let Obama orchestrate riots. See how much that helped the Dems in ’68?
No one likes smelly hippies who break things. Not even most hard working Democrat types.
___________
In one of the little ‘burgs south of Trashville.
Sounds good. It would be a pleasure. Let me know when you are visiting and we’ll set something up.
Yea, it’s not the hippies that worry me. They are nothing. It’s the power behind them.
That old bitch Francis Fox Piven is back at her old tricks telling students to get ready for street riots and breaking capitalism down. Never has “useful idiots” had more meaning. The liberal power is using these kids to set in motion their desire to destroy the system.
I’m afraid this is their moment. Because in 14 months it will be basically over. The White House and congressional power will be mostly kaput. But if they can collapse the system now…
It sounds like a grand conspiracy, but the liberal power is conducting this. They want riots. They want agitated people. Could they declare some sort of martial law and then take over the system as they see fit? “Postpone” elections?
I dunno. Seems ridiculous yet I never thought we’d be *here* either.

Freakin’ awesome.
What does that mean/where does it come from?
_______
Thumbs up SofMD. I’ll take a shot at meaning = the 53% that work and pay taxes?
JG,
Can you help explain the huge price gap between the below:
Silver 5000 oz. Oct 11- 40.7 up 27.76%
Vs
Silver Oct 11 – 32.11 up 0.44%
Misprint.
____
Jake, what say ye regarding LODE?
Nothing much. Historical name.
_____
do you own any? what would make you buy some/more?
Own none. Too small.
________
How about my boy LMJ popping his elbow back in place? More guts than A-Rod showed last night.
