4. The October 2011 lows will be re-tested.
5. The Euro-Zone crisis will result in the EU treaty being amended to allow printing of Euros. EU banks will be recapitalized with some countries requiring significant haircuts for the bondholders. In the end, most EU countries will see a loss of sovereignty in order gain the support of Germany.
6. The U.S. will fall into recession due to the Euro-Zone crisis.
7. The S&P500 will close down for the year.
8. GLD will see $200/share.
9. Scottrade will begin accepting the EBT/Swipe card as payment to fund new accounts. Obama and Bernanke will be piloting the Scottrade helicopter in future advertisements.
10. $VIX will close above 40.00
11. The Indomitable Dominion of iBC will see over 25 million visitors.

Indeed. I’m hoping support for Ron Paul reaches critical mass in the next 3 months. He’s the only GOP candidate that has seen consistent growth in the polls during 2011.
Also, Romney has obtained too much success and wealth to not have an ace up his sleeve. Then again, I’d wager Obama has one too, and his isn’t offsuit.
Paul is looking better and better to me. I’m starting to wish Gary Johnson would have gotten more attention. He is now running as a libertarian.
Ron Paul will run as an independant, which will give Obama a vicory.
By the way, be sure to check out last year’s predictions. My serious (as opposed to the ones I thought were humorous) predictions for 2011 were accurate. My calls for the price of GLD and AAPL shares were both spot on. My call for the S&P500 to be up for the year, not so good, but my call for the U.S. to be downgraded was prescient. Also, iBC did surpass over 15 million visits in 2011…

I basically said I have been reading your stuff for about four years now (has it been four years?), and I know that you know what the heck you are talking about.
I don’t normally comment on your blog, because I only trade resource stocks, and lately just PM’s, but you were the first one to point out to me what I was doing wrong. And offer suggestions of books to read to help me.
Well, I am still solvent and I am still here reading. And let me tell you it has been one wild ride, but worth every minute.
I still remember when you told the story of why you started trading and how you came to pick your handle, and I know that you operate in a belief system of values and integrity!
