Kong – I’ve always appreciated your insights into the currencies. I’ve not quite grasped the links to the markets, recently, though. It sounds like you just made a lot of money on what was essentially a risk off trade, while equities have gone straight up. It’s confusing. I know you say there are often delays for equities to catch up, etc., but now seems to be a big dislocation. I’ll happily trade currency etf’s to use your knowledge, but need help from you in which direction to go.

Ya….The correlations between currency markets , bonds , stocks don’t all line up “day to day” but on a much larger time frame – this is why you’re getting some mixed messages here and now.
U.S stocks “have” risen in recent days yes – but many currency pairs have been “suggesting” risk off moves are upon us.
At times it can all be a touch confusing for sure, so the key is to juuuuust sit tight a lil longer – and let the dust clear here on the turns.
I am going to start including the currency ETF’s in my commentary and analysis soon.
