For what it’s worth people – I continue to line up my forex analysis and short term technical systems, with U.S equities movement. Last time was pretty much bang on the money, and obviously this doesn’t happen every day so…….with an open mind, and blah blah blah – let’s have a look at general USD strength/ weakness over the next 24hours as well JPY, Commods and U.S Stocks.
I’d be looking to enter short (via SPY) tomorrow evening at 12:17 a.m – oh……he he…..can’t do that so – Thursday morning then.
We can all go on and on about USD ( my feelings haven’t changed a bit ) as well U.S earnings season kicking off etc – but frankly in this case – I don’t really give a rats ass.
Let’s see if the short term technical system ( originally designed / created for Forex markets ) can again give us a decent signal in equities.

Sorry about that – I’ve lost a day here.
My stuff looks ahead based on a number of factors “after” my first signal fires…….it would Wednesday morning at the latest – I’m sorry.
Well I have ES puts in play. They WERE in good shape but not at the le moment.
J man – my signals push forward an additional 48 hours, and “I’m” often a lil early so – he he he…..
U’ve got the jump on things.
I imagine my shit will line up with a standard tech analysis of resistance around 1660 area…and ya – low and behold – 48 hours should do it.

Thanks for the tip, Kong! I think if we break today’s high we could get some short covering. So if that happens I will likely take a long es Sept 13 and reduce the exposure of my puts. I don’t excessive draw downs. Puts me in a sketchy frame of mind.

I’ve been bearish for weeks now Alex – that doesn’t mean I’ve “been short equities” for weeks.
I’ve just applied my short term tech to stock indicies charts etc – and my signal fired!
You’ve got to start looking at the larger picture, and come to understand that “all things don’t turn on a dime”. Stocks have been bouncing for the past 5 days….but “long” a currency pair such as NZD/USD for example has been turning profits.
I can easily be “short USD against an individual currency” and see a number of others ( like EUR and GBP ) getting squashed. Dollar strength is “relative” depending what its showing strength “against”.
I have been short USD this entire week ( but not against eur or gbp ) and I’ve actually booked profitable trades!
I will “now” consider short entry in $SPX – you getting a better understanding now?
