Staring At Goats

[youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LS-jutv-rh0 450 300]

The New Official iBC Theme Movie?

________________________________________________________

No, this is no well-deserved reference to the Red Sawx or the Twinkies, or even the misbegotten Mets.

It’s what I’ll be doing to pass the time until Christmas.   I’ll be staring at goats, shepherds and large carafes of homemade plum wine.

Because I’m looking at the Jacksonian Core Portfolio here — up 44.7% since May 1st and going higher — and I’m saying… why would I want to screw up a good thing, ovah heah, fretting about short term nary and sally?

I just got back from checking out all their daily charts, and… you know what?  They’re all overbought almost to a man.

Normally, I’d  be all “where’s my exit” on stuff like that, but… you know what?  See above.

Goats, shepherds… plum wine til Christmas.   Abide.

Just in case you were wondering… that 14.66% you see to the right of the chart above? That’s the weighted return for this past week alone

That’s why I’m not touching any of this sheet, here.

Yeah, they’ll be pullbacks, but this train is pulling out.

Jake no longer consumes plebian dishes such as ‘wheaties’, Mr. Coffee. Breakfast for him and his consists of Foie Gras and Fricasse’d Lapin, served on a sterling silver platter with a gilded portrait of himself, that, when he looks directly into the image, his reflection is accentuated by its aurum coating. His italian espresso is prepared and served by his very own italian, who also keeps his Bocce court in perfect, stunning condtion. His fruit juice is freshly squeezed by several buxom lasses of impeccable measurements, who Mrs. Jake eyes warningly (though needlessly, I am sure). After this fine repast, he retires to his solid gold commode for his morning constitutional; there we shall leave him in peace…

Hey Cuervos, I know this might be an oversimplification, but if all these ‘export economies’ are feeling the pinch of a weaker USD, wouldn’t it be wiser for their respective gov’ts to look to their own currency, now growing in strength, to promote and encourage more in the way of domestic demand? Or, alternately, start searching for buyers in other markets who also have a currency on the rise? I mean, rather than flog the dead horse of the unfortunate US consumer by trying to entice the poor, lame creature into even more debt… This, as some say, would have the added benefit for the US by coercing them back into a more production, rather than consumption, based economy. Though how they will be able to afford the raw material for such manufacturing is still a matter open to question.

XeeeRA (XRA), Queen of the Jungle, is running around crazily, dressed only in a leopard skin bikini and some beach shell jewelry.

(This alert was shot out to the PPT on Friday…. you’d already be up 7%+ had you heeded it then).
