Let’s Hear it for a Massive EGO!

Slavery

Today was a bit of a crapola day, no denying, with “Most Favoured (sic) Jacksons” The Andersons, Inc. [[ANDE]] and Teck Cominco Limited (USA) [[TCK]] taking a severe frond thrashing to the buttocks, and most favoured (sic) silver stock Silver Wheaton Corp. (USA) [[SLW]] feeling the pain as well (among others).

However, for balance, my giant Eldorado Gold Corporation (USA) [[EGO]] is breaking the futz out, again!  Since this Jackson has been a laggard for a while, it gives me some hope for the whole group of PM’s in the Jackson Portfolio.  And believe me I need some surcease after being gutshot with a double barrel full of salt-rime this afternoon by my top two reliables and my “reliable laggard” Natural Resource Partners LP [[NRP]] –which I truly am beginning to tire of.

Fat dividend or not, NRP may soon go the way of Tesoro Corporation [[TSO]] and onto the charnel heap if it does not get its act together soon.

But on to sweeter things.   Two Jacksons are showing great promise, EGO being one, as mentioned — and look at this bust out chart:

egodaily

And the weekly show even more clearly the significance of the breakout into the “free air” territory:

egoweekly

Is it overbought?  Sure, a little.   But so was The St. Joe Company [[JOE]] yesterday, and that sucker kept steamrolling today.  Ours not to reason why, Jacksons….

But let me show you one more that may turn out to be the best gold stock in the Jackson Portfolio (I’ve felt that way for a while now).   Look at how IAMGOLD Corporation (USA) [[IAG]] is setting up here.   This may be the one you really want to look at for tomorrow:

iag-daily

As the chart says, a break of $11.51 on volume will tell the tale.   Happy Hunting Jacksons.

What happened to your incessant silver ranting (only mild today)? Check aluminum futures. That shit gives the Tin Man an erection right about now. Don’t bother with supply stats either, they lag like a 3G connection, if you know what I mean.

Must I put up some kind of “pro”claimer (as opposed to a “dis”claimer) shouting out to you nims that silver miners MUST be purchased as its gains will far outshine those of gold in the coming meltup (and down)?

I kind of had more faith in the intelligence of my audience, than that, but you let me know if you need a flash e-mail alert or something, and I’ll see what I can do.

Any particular names, other than the usuals, you like in the aluminum side?

I think CENX looks decent, just by looking at charts for best potential upside assuming a breakout. I’ll have to do some more research but my interest was piqued by the futures weekly chart bounce. Watchlist includes: AA, ACH, KALU, CENX, NX, and TG for now. Element 13 has been in the news over the months with reports of supply glut but fuck it, them stocks is movin’ boy. Like a Vahginia boh drinkin’ Bud chasin’ DMarks…

Born in Memphis, school at UVA, and a weekend house in MD on the Chesapeake. Same shit, all below the Mason-Dixon Line. He probably wears overalls under his suit.

Yes… if you were on the PPT, you’d be “privy” to this conversation already.

@The_Real_Hmmm – Dude, I don’t mean to be a prick when I say what I’m about to say, but if you are considering trading CENX at these levels, you’re fucking nuts. I was on this stock when it was around 6 bucks, and once this bad boy broke out above 8.50, I knew it was off to the races. It’s rounding off right now, and if the metals begin to consolidate for the time being and if we happen to get a larger pullback here than expected, commodities will get hit and so will CENX.

AA, however, looks solid if another day or two of shit action occurs and it drops back to $12…

It’s a buy above $8. Of course I’m not looking at the micro-tick timeframe of your typical stocktwit who takes energy drink enemas.

Jake at some point we have stagflation, I’m just not sure if that time is in a week or two. Or longer out, but I do know it is not in the next week. Will probably join you in a bit back in some gold/silver stocks on a breakout/lower areas of gold/silver stocks.

Despite your lagging faith in NRP, I beefed up my holdings of it today at and average of $20.28 a share. As a more dividend minded individual, such yields are just to tempting to pass up.
