To update a position I have been discussing, I took partial profits in my FDO long inside 12631 earlier at $72 from a $69 entry. The buyout rumors are circulating in the dollar store sector and I am trading around them, looking to add back to my core.
As you might imagine, the couple of shorts I have on are not working the way I want them to, but are not ripping up through my stop-loss points either.
I am still staying tactical and opportunistic with all trading ideas as the market is basically flopping around in summer trading.
A long idea is LZB, with earnings on 08/20. Note the daily chart narrowing its consolidation above all rising an properly-algined daily chart moving averages. The relative strength today is impressive, though I would like to see move buy volume come in.
