People in America don’t want to believe the country is becoming a police state. Those that are awake already know it is. You just have to open your eyes to see the tyranny growing around you. Ask any member of the herd about the TSA or drones or executive orders and they will more than likely say “but it’s for our safety”. We all know what Benjamin Franklin said about that so we won’t stop to rehash it.
You believe the government is there to protect you yet I would argue that it is now the single biggest threat to your well-being. I worry more about what the government is going to do to thwart my liberty and freedoms than about terrorism. Nay, I am far more scared of the U.S. government than I am of terrorists.
