Allegations of Sexual Abuse Won’t Stop TSA From Hiring Former Priest – He Fits Right In

American tyranny is filled with examples lacking of any common sense. That’s what happens when you have bureaucrats overseeing the serfs. You might think the last person that would be hired at the TSA would be an individual that lost another job due to allegations of sexual abuse. Given the sexual perversion prevalent in the TSA you would be wrong. Unbelievably the person hired also happened to be a priest that was removed from the ministry. The TSA sure does a great job of picking individuals with upstanding moral character. CBS Philly via Drudge has the report:

The CBS 3 I-Team has learned that a Catholic priest who was removed from the ministry over sex abuse allegations now holds a sensitive security post at Philadelphia International Airport.

The security checkpoint between Terminals D and E is a busy place where thousands of people – including lots of kids – pass through every day. But you might not believe who the I-Team observed working as a TSA supervisor at that checkpoint this week: Thomas Harkins.

Until 2002, Harkins was a Catholic priest working at churches across South Jersey. But the Diocese of Camden removed him from ministry because it found he sexually abused two young girls. Now, in a new lawsuit, a third woman is claiming she also is one of Harkins’ victims.

The I-Team asked Harkins about the suit as he was leaving his shift at the airport.

“I have nothing to say,” was Harkins’ reply.

The new lawsuit, filed in federal court against the Camden Diocese says quite a bit. It accuses Harkins of sexually abusing an 11-year-old girl 10 to 15 times in 1980 and 1981. The lawsuit, filed on behalf of the alleged victim, claims the abuse occurred while Harkins was a priest at Saint Anthony of Padua parish in Hammonton, NJ, with one assault even occurring in Harkins’ bedroom at the rectory.

To Protect and Serve – Against Littering and Generosity – More Asshattery From the Police

“To protect and serve”. Supposedly that is, or was, the motto for police departments. Seems more likely the motto is “to collect and annoy”. The latest dipshit police action comes to you from Cleveland, Ohio where a man was cited for littering for dropping a dollar bill out of his car window to a homeless panhandler.

The Blaze reports:

Last Monday, John Davis was reportedly exiting the I-90 in Cleveland, Ohio when he saw a pale, thin man in a wheelchair holding a sign that said something along the lines of, “Love Jesus, Please Help.”

Davis, who has a brother that is paralyzed, says he enjoys helping people, particularly since he knows how much his brother struggles.

“Not only that, but he‘s needing some money or he wouldn’t be out there,” Davis remarked of the man in the wheelchair.

So, Davis recalled, he grabbed a couple of dollars and folded them, extending his arm out his window to give the bills to the man.

“He touched it. It hit the ground. At that point, he bent over and he picked it up,” Davis explained.
John Davis May Pay $500 For Littering After Giving a Homeless Man Money and Briefly Dropping One of the Bills

It was only a few seconds before police cruiser lights began flashing, and an officer reportedly told Davis he was being cited for littering.

“Are you serious?” Davis asked.

“I’m darn serious,” the officer allegedly responded, writing “Throw paper out window,” on the ticket, and in parenthesis, “money to panhandler.”

Now, Fox 8 notes that Ohio does have a law that prohibits panhandling and giving money to panhandlers near a highway or street (including a berm, shoulder, treelawn or sidewalk), but that is not what the man was seemingly ticketed for.

When Davis protested, the officer reportedly told him to “take it up with the courts,” where he may have to pay $500, including associated court fees.

“I don’t mean any disrespect toward the police department at all, we need ‘em, but I just wish I didn’t have to pay this ticket,” Davis said.

Not only that, but he said this will undeniably curtail his future charitable givings towards the homeless.

“I’d like to do it again but I’m petrified I’m going to get a ticket.”

I am so proud to live in a country where we have busy body asshole cops patrol our streets as leviathan revenue collectors and jackboot thugs. At least with the sheriff department you can cast a vote for your protection. This is freaking ridiculous.

The Stand Our Leaders Need to Make For Liberty and Support of Our Constitution

I found this open letter from Constitutional Attorney Krisanne Hall to our “leaders” most agreeable. I am re-posting it with permission from Agenda21today.com

Dear Mr. Boehner, Mr. McConnell, et. al;

Our federal government is out of control. It is not the role of the federal government to regulate the daily lives of the citizens. It is not the role of the federal government to regulate domestic commerce. It is not the role of the federal government to tell farmers what to grow, nor tell people what to eat. It is not the role of the federal government to dictate the education of our children. It is not the job of the federal government to trespass into state criminal investigations.

It is not the role of the federal government to control our rural or municipal affairs; yet, the President has now established federal councils for both rural affairs (Executive Order 13575—Establishment of the White House Rural Council June 9, 2011)and municipal affairs (Executive Order– Establishing a White House Council on Strong Cities, Strong Communities May 1, 2012). Russia called these councils the “sovyet” and they are the final building blocks to communism. It is not the role of the Federal government to be the people’s nanny.

It’s not the role of the Federal government to spend this nation into oblivion. Pardon me if I do not get excited about your current budget debate. That drama has outlived itself, and I say let the government shut down for a while; we might buy a few more days of life for our Constitution. I am also not impressed by your resolution on foreign affairs, encouraging “democracies” in foreign nations, while our republic is being actively destroyed by its own government.

It is your role, Congress, to stop the Executive encroachment into the Legislature and it is your duty to stop the Federal encroachment upon individual Liberty. Our founders took great care when creating a federal government that would be limited and always in submission to the states and the people. WHEN is Congress going to take a real stand against the destruction of the rights and privileges of this people? Will you wait until it’s too late? Mere “outrage” doesn’t get the job done. This Congress is pushing the nation to a point of turmoil it has not seen for 150 years. And make no mistake; each and every one of you will be personally responsible for what will occur. Are you prepared to live with that responsibility and those consequences? It will not fall on the shoulders of the President alone and the blame game will not alleviate the suffering of our children when they are so grievously affected. Yet, we can avoid repeating the mistakes of our history. But we must act now. We must act decisively. If not, we will regret our neglect. We have the opportunity now, but have no guarantee it will be available much longer.

Does Congress truly understand WHY people fled communist nations to come to the greatest nation in the world? Do you truly know the cost of such sacrifice and what you are supposed to be defending? You are fooling yourselves if you think one more election is going to fix it. You don’t have that kind of time. The blocks are in place, and you have provided the mortar. Take a stand now. Not a political stand, but a stand that involves integrity, courage, and resolve. No more petitions asking the president to stop stealing legislative power. No more demands that Eric Holder resign. YOU must do your job and YOU must defend this nation and it’s Constitution from these enemies, both foreign and domestic. You must:

1. Put an end to the executive order madness. Exercise your constitutionally given power, as provided through the checks and balances and separation of powers. Show this nation that you understand that Legislative power is not to be shared and it is definitely NOT to be taken.

2. We are not subjects of the United Nations and never intend to be. Get them out of our business.

3. If you are unwilling to impeach, defund any person appointed by the executive branch outside Congressional and Constitutional authority. (i.e. all the Christmas appointments and Czars)

4. Pick up your Congressional oversight responsibility and shut down these executive regulatory agencies whose only purpose is to “harass our people, and eat out their substance.”

5. Get control of the immigration in this nation. We don’t want to see GAO reports telling us that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the State Department cannot agree on the degree of terrorist association a visa applicant must have to render the applicant ineligible.

6. It is time to indict Eric Holder for the criminal that he is. No more whining, no more demanding for resignations, INDICT him and then FIRE him.

7. Impeach Elena Kagan. She is obviously incapable of using the appropriate professional ethic and judgment needed to be a Supreme Court Justice. Learn from this mistake and actually involve yourselves in the confirmation process. Your employers are sick to death of political games.

8. Repeal The Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act. Now. You are supposed to be protecting the rights of the people, not violating them.

9. End the 4thamendment violations permitted in the Patriot Act. Now.

10. Repeal sections 1021 & 1022 of NDAA 2012. It’s not only about habeas corpus, it’s about

a. unilateral power given to the president by congress to determine who is a terrorist and then detain them in secret with no probable cause;

b. unilateral power given to the president by congress to invoke the laws of war during a “hostility”;

c. unilateral power given to the president by congress to transfer the power under the laws of war to “domestic agencies fighting terrorists”

11. Get the IRS out of the passport business.

12. Don’t just read the Constitution, study it. Not how you studied it in law school, that wasn’t the Constitution, that was Constitutional Law, there is a huge difference. Those of you who went to Harvard, we understand if you don’t know what the Constitution is, it hasn’t been studied there in years. May I suggest a course that I know will teach you the truth and is so simple a Congressman can understand it. I happen to know the teacher personally and I am sure that she would come teach it at her own expense and sacrifice. Interested? Click Here.

These are some of the demands of your employers; we demand you do your job. These are the requirements of our founders; they have entrusted us with the Liberty purchased with their lives. These are the duties imposed upon you by the Constitution of the United States, and your obligations consistent with the oaths you took. And, these are the times that try men’s souls. How will history remember us? The generation that participated in death of Liberty or the generation that gave our last breath to prosper it? I have made my choice. How will you choose?

Sincerely,

KrisAnne Hall

Take this letter and post to your own websites. Send it to your Congressmen. Do something if you value freedom in this country. If you don’t care for liberty and freedom maybe you should look at opportunities abroad in the great socialist countries of Europe. But in the U.S., we will stop the big government agenda of our totalitarian in chief.

Asshole Tennessee Cop Policing for Profit – Warrantless Theft of Money During Traffic Stop

It becomes a sad time to be an American when you cannot trust those who are sworn to protect and serve. I’m sure there are those who would argue that the majority of cops are simply doing their job, that they abide by the constitution and willfully serve the citizens of their communities. Well, assholes like this piece of shit here in Tennessee certainly makes the case for not trusting cops. Apparently George Reby from New Jersey was traveling I-40 to pick up a car he purchased on eBay. His first mistake was speeding and getting stopped by Officer Larry Bates. SHTF.com has the report from NewsChannel 5 Investigates:

George Reby was driving down Interstate 40, heading west through Putnam County, when he was stopped for speeding.

A Monterey police officer wanted to know if he was carrying any large amounts of cash.

“I said, ‘Around $20,000,’” he recalled. “Then, at the point, he said, ‘Do you mind if I search your vehicle?’ I said, ‘No, I don’t mind.’ I certainly didn’t feel I was doing anything wrong. It was my money.”

That’s when Officer Larry Bates confiscated the cash based on his suspicion that it was drug money.

Bates said the amount of money and the way it was packed gave him reason to be suspicious.

“The safest place to put your money if it’s legitimate is in a bank account,” he explained. “He stated he had two. I would put it in a bank account. It draws interest and it’s safer.”

“But it’s not illegal to carry cash,” we noted.

“No, it’s not illegal to carry cash,” Bates said. “Again, it’s what the cash is being used for to facilitate or what it is being utilized for.”

NewsChannel 5 Investigates noted, “But you had no proof that money was being used for drug trafficking, correct? No proof?”

“And he couldn’t prove it was legitimate,” Bates insisted.

In fact, Reby had proof on his computer. [The ebay evidence he showed the officer was not sufficient]

“On the street, a thousand-dollar bundle could approximately buy two ounces of cocaine,” Bates told NewsChannel 5 Investigates.

“Or the money could have been used to buy a car,” we observed.

“It’s possible,” he admitted.

NewsChannel 5 Investigates asked Bates if Reby had told him that he was trying to buy a car?

“He did,” the officer acknowledged.

“But you did not include that in your report,” we noted.

“If it’s not in there, I didn’t put it in there.”

So why did he leave that out?

“I don’t know,” the officer said.

If this NJ guy can’t get a lawyer to help him out of this jam then that money is going to be stolen by the State of TN. As SHTF indicates the TN law legitimizes this theft. Imagine if the man had done like most people and refused to give up HIS money. Tons of legal hell from the jackboots would rain down on him.

…the protections laid out by the Constitution of the United States of America mean absolutely nothing to the sycophants and thieves who we have entrusted with preserving our most dearly held principles.

Indeed.

The lesson here: Never, never, consent to a search. Protect your 4th amendment right. The police state is tightening it’s grip. Somehow, someway we have to start taking a stand.

Outrageous – Socialist Sens. Schumer and Casey Unveil Ex-Patriot Act to Punish Expats

Seems the Democrats are seething with anger that one of their serfs, Eduardo Saverin, had the gall to relinquish his citizenship in September thereby skirting some hefty monetary theft by the federal government.

Socialist Democrat Sens. Charles Schumer and Bob Casey have proposed the “Ex-PATRIOT” – “Expatriation Prevention by Abolishing Tax-Related Incentives for Offshore Tenancy” – Act.

This is retaliation for Saverin taking the money and running.

Leviathan is angry. The empire is broke. To keep the party going just a little bit longer they will seek funds wherever they can beg, borrow or steal it. The Western economic decline is going to be long and painful.

How much longer before currency controls are in place in “the land of liberty”?

From ABC News via Yahoo:

At a news conference this morning, Sens. Schumer and Bob Casey, D-Pa., will unveil the “Ex-PATRIOT” – “Expatriation Prevention by Abolishing Tax-Related Incentives for Offshore Tenancy” – Act to respond directly to Saverin’s move, which they dub a “scheme” that would “help him duck up to $67 million in taxes.”

The senators will call Saverin’s move an “outrage” and will outline their plan to re-impose taxes on expatriates like Saverin even after they flee the United States and take up residence in a foreign country. Their proposal would also impose a mandatory 30 percent tax on the capital gains of anybody who renounces their U.S. citizenship.

The plan would bar individuals like Saverin from ever reentering the United States again.

“Eduardo recently found it more practical to become a resident of Singapore since he plans to live there for an indefinite period of time,” Tom Goodman, Saverin’s spokesman, told Bloomberg News in an email.

Last year 1,700 people renounced their U.S. citizenship.

Pathetic class warfare by political hacks seeking votes from their zombie serfs. The outrage are these Socialists that have infected the U.S. government. They are destroying freedom. You may not like that this guy made billions and left this country for better opportunities, but he should have the freedom to do whatever he wants. This is -was- America.

Maybe this country should make it so that people like Saverin would want to keep their money here. Instead of an “outrage” press conference maybe these two twits should instead unveil new tax policies that encourage investments and keeping money in the U.S.

But no, our leaders here in Dumfukistan will continue to drive out the brightest and richest.

1st Amendment Be Damned – Watch What You Say About Yemen

I don’t recall seeing anything in the Constitution about Yemen. Seems the feds will freeze your bank account if you threaten the ascension to power of the U.S. approved President Hadi. Who knows what that means. Can you blog your discontent of the choice? Does that only include aid of the monetary or military type to get you on the Empire’s radar? Who knows. What is clear is that leviathan wants tight lips in regard to the change in power in Yemen. Seems the youth in the country aren’t too happy with the U.S. and its meddling so they are again growing a bit edgy.

The Five:

Nearly half the population is under 16. Nearly half is in poverty. There’s almost no arable land. “Oil, which accounts for 75% of government revenue, will likely run dry by 2020,” he noted.

Sure enough, the place blew up during the Arab Spring last year. The longtime U.S.-backed dictator Saleh was chased from office, agreeing to a U.S.-brokered “transition.”

As part of that “transition” a Saleh stooge named Hadi won an election in which he was the only candidate.

Having pronounced the election “successful,” Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ensures that Hadi, like Saleh before him, collects beaucoup bucks and weapons to do Washington’s bidding.

Yemenis, realizing they were had, are restive.

So the president issued an executive order this morning — authorizing the Treasury Department to freeze the U.S.-based assets of anyone the feds believe “engaged in acts that directly or indirectly threaten the peace, security or stability of Yemen.”

Included are “acts that obstruct the implementation” of the “transition” agreement.

“In other words,” writes Salon’s civil liberties blogger Glenn Greenwald, “the U.S. government will now punish anyone who is determined — in the sole discretion of the U.S. government — even to ‘indirectly’ obstruct the full transition of power to President Hadi.”

As part of this transition, the U.S. military has carried out more drone strikes in Yemen this month than in the preceding 10 years combined. Yemen is also the place where last fall, a U.S. drone summarily executed a U.S. citizen — with no trial or other vestige of due process, merely the president’s say-so.

Would criticism of these policies constitute an act that “directly or indirectly threaten[s] the peace, security or stability of Yemen”? Probably not.

Not yet, anyway. But if you’re the sort of person who doesn’t like the government freezing his assets, we pass this along as a public service.

Send in the Drones – Privacy Concerns Over Unmanned Aircraft Over American Skies

How you going to feel when you get a glimpse of a drone circling high above your neighborhood? Ready for an all out war on your privacy? Seems the feds would like nothing more than to approve drone use for local cops. The FAA is working on rules and regulations to allow public agencies to fly them bad boys over America’s skies. Yea, the same ones that fly over the Middle East are going to be in the hands of law enforcement. Seems the cops want the toys. I say hell no.

FoxNews reports:

…the government is taking a tool that has become synonymous with U.S. counterterror warfare in countries like Pakistan and Yemen — and putting it in the hands of U.S. law enforcement.

Unlike some of the drones used overseas, these will not be equipped with missiles. They are to be used purely for surveillance. But that alone has raised serious privacy concerns on Capitol Hill and beyond.

“Our Founding Fathers had no idea that there would be remote-control drones with television monitors that can feed back live data instantaneously — but if they had, they would have made darn sure … that these things were subject to the Fourth Amendment (protecting individual privacy),” Rep. Joe Barton, R-Texas, told Fox News.

Proponents argue that they will not be used for constant surveillance. That they can only stay aloft for 30 minutes. Yea. Sure. And you believe anything the government says?

Drones will be flying in the American skies. They already have been. The question is how intrusive into our privacy are we going to allow them to get.

Lawmakers like Rep. Joe Barton, R-Texas, say there are “legitimate uses” for drones on U.S. soil, but that strict privacy standards will be needed.

“It would be okay for a drone to be used in order to make sure that all the cattle on a ranch are identified on an ongoing basis. It’s okay … to survey a forest to make sure there are no forest fires. But it would not be okay if that individual who purchased the drone then decided ‘I think I’ll go and check and see what’s going on over in my neighbor’s backyard’,” Rep. Ed Markey, D-Mass., said. “That would be wrong and that has to be protected against.”

Jay Stanley, a senior policy analyst with the American Civil Liberties Union, agreed.

“We don’t want a situation where every time we walk out of our front door we have to look up and wonder whether some invisible eye in the sky is monitoring us, you know, constantly,” he said. “There are good uses for drones that everybody agrees with, but what we don’t’ want to see are drones used for constant, persistent, suspicion-less surveillance where we are all being watched for no particular reason.”

Leviathan must be fed.

IRS Tyranny Infringe on Americans Freedom to Bank Overseas

If you are an American with means you might think it prudent to diversify some of your wealth into other countries. With a dollar in decline and uncertain economics in the U.S. citizens of this country have used their freedom to open offshore bank accounts, buy real estate, invest in businesses.

Unfortunately the tyrants of the IRS have seen to it that at least one of your options for overseas diversification, opening an offshore bank account, is pretty much dead for any American.

Offshore banking was for years used by the rich to shelter funds from taxation. The IRS didn’t much like not being able to access that money so they began tightening the noose and creating draconian restrictions with regard to offshore banking.

The end result is that it is extremely difficult to get your money out of this country and into a safer place. Even if you are tax paying, law abiding citizen, simply wanting international diversification. Canadians have no trouble opening up a bank account in Switzerland. Brits can easily open an account in Singapore. Not you American.

Daily Reckoning explains via Bloomberg:

US Millionaires Told Go Away as Tax Evasion Rule Looms

That’s what some of the world’s largest wealth-management firms are saying ahead of Washington’s implementation of the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act, known as Fatca, which seeks to prevent tax evasion by Americans with offshore accounts. HSBC Holdings Plc (HSBA), Deutsche Bank AG, Bank of Singapore Ltd. and DBS Group Holdings Ltd. (DBS) all say they have turned away business.

Renato de Guzman, chief executive officer of Bank of Singapore Ltd., said in industry meetings of private bankers he attends in Singapore, not accepting US clients is “quite a prevailing sentiment”.

“I don’t open US accounts, period,” said Su Shan Tan, head of private banking at Singapore-based DBS, Southeast Asia’s largest lender, who described regulatory attitudes toward US clients as “Draconian.”

The 2010 law, to be phased in starting Jan. 1, 2013, requires financial institutions based outside the US to obtain and report information about income and interest payments accrued to the accounts of American clients. It means additional compliance costs for banks and fewer investment options and advisers for all US citizens living abroad, which could affect their ability to generate returns.

It’s class warfare. It’s an empire in decline looking for every scrap of money they can collect. It’s a tyrannical government seeking to control every aspect of  a U.S. citizens life.

Most offshore hedge funds will no longer take US clients. Overseas banks don’t want their money either.

Why? Because there are over 400 pages of new regulations in the FATCA legislation. Way too much for a sane person.

Everybody wants to tax the rich, investigate them, crucify them…

The end result is that people with means are simply using their wealth to purchase citizenship in another country and surrendering their U.S. passport.

TSA Nabs Suspected Terrorist – She’s 18 Months Old

More stupidity from our stellar transportation security agency. This time they order an 18 year-old off the plane because she was on the “no-fly” list. Yep, her parents were good to go but this little human was already labeled a terrorist. The family, presumably Muslim, says they were humiliated.

From WPBF via Drudge:

Eighteen-month-old Riyanna has been called a lot of things: cute, adorable and now … a suspected terrorist.

She was called that on Tuesday night at the Ft Lauderdale Airport. She and her parents had just boarded a JetBlue flight when an airline employee approached them and asked them to get off the plane, saying representatives from the Transportation Security Agency wanted to speak to them.

“And I said, ‘For what?'” Riyanna’s mother told only WPBF 25 News on Wednesday. “And he said, ‘Well, it’s not you or your husband. Your daughter was flagged as no fly.’ I said, ‘Excuse me?'”

Rihanna’s father was flabbergasted.

“It’s absurd,” he said. “It made no sense. Why would an 18-month-old child be on a no-fly list?”

Riyanna’s parents, who asked not to be identified, said they think they know the answer to that question. They believe they were profiled because they are both of Middle Eastern descent. Riyanna’s mother wears a hijab, a traditional head scarf. That’s why they have asked to remain anonymous. They said they’re concerned about repurcussions. That said, they are both Americans, born and raised in New Jersey, just like their daughter.

Riyanna’s parents said once they were taken off the plane, they were met by TSA agents and made to stand in the terminal for about 30 minutes.

“We were put on display like a circus act because my wife wears a hijab,” Riyanna’s father said.

Eventually, the child’s parents said they were told they could reboard the plane though they added that nobody offered an apology or even an explanation for what happened. The family refused to get back on the plane because they were embarrassed. They chose instead to leave the airport, but they still want to know why and how this happened.

Can someone please explain why we allow this agency to remain active?

American Public Schools – Training Compliant Citizens for the Police State

I would sooner move out of this country before sending my children to the government detention camps for our youth. Being a student through the 70’s and 80’s I find it comical and scary today what the government administrators require of children in the classrooms. You can be expelled, arrested even, for the simplest of grievances. The indoctrination of our youth to be obedient and controlled for our Orwellian society is ridiculous, and real.

John W. Whitehead writes:

Once looked to as the starting place for imparting principles of freedom and democracy to future generations, America’s classrooms are becoming little more than breeding grounds for compliant citizens of the police state. In fact, as director Cevin Soling documents in his insightful, award-winning documentary The War on Kids, which recently aired on the Documentary Channel, the moment young people walk into school, they increasingly find themselves under constant surveillance: they are photographed, fingerprinted, scanned, x-rayed, sniffed and snooped on. Between metal detectors at the entrances, drug-sniffing dogs in the hallways and surveillance cameras in the classrooms and elsewhere, many of America’s schools look more like prisons than learning facilities.

Add to this the epidemic of arresting schoolchildren and treating them as if they are dangerous criminals, and you have the makings of a perfect citizenry for the Orwellian society – one that can be easily cowed, controlled, and directed. Indeed, what once was looked upon as classically childish behavior such as getting into food fights, playing tag, doodling, hugging, kicking and throwing temper tantrums is now being criminalized.

Whereas in the past minor behavioral infractions at school such as shooting spitwads may have warranted a trip to the principal’s office, in-school detention or a phone call to one’s parents, today, they are elevated to the level of criminal behavior with all that implies. Consequently, young people are now being forcibly removed by police officers from the classroom, arrested, handcuffed, transported in the back of police squad cars, and placed in police holding cells until their frantic parents can get them out. For those unlucky enough to be targeted for such punishment, the experience will stay with them long after they are allowed back at school. In fact, it will stay with them for the rest of their lives in the form of a criminal record.

School is always going to serve an agenda for administrators of the state. When I was in school, in the South, we saluted the State by saying the pledge of allegiance. We had morning prayer. Kids were most afraid of the vice-principal and their parents. We were taught about freedom. Heck, I remember in music class in the 6th grade singing the “Ballad of the Green Berets”. No kid would ever admit to being on the government dole for food or housing. Communism and Marxism was feared and despised. Not anymore.

…if Americans have come to view freedom as expedient and expendable, it is only because that’s what they’ve been taught in the schools, by government leaders and by the corporations who run the show. More and more Americans are finding themselves institutionalized from cradle to grave, from government-run daycares and public schools to nursing homes. In between, they are fed a constant, mind-numbing diet of pablum consisting of entertainment news, mediocre leadership, and technological gadgetry, which keeps them sated and distracted and unwilling to challenge the status quo.

Homeschool or private school for your kid’s sake.

Allegations of Sexual Abuse Won’t Stop TSA From Hiring Former Priest – He Fits Right In

So, Davis recalled, he grabbed a couple of dollars and folded them, extending his arm out his window to give the bills to the man.

“He touched it. It hit the ground. At that point, he bent over and he picked it up,” Davis explained.

Dear Mr. Boehner, Mr. McConnell, et. al;

It’s not only about habeas corpus, it’s about

a. unilateral power given to the president by congress to determine who is a terrorist and then detain them in secret with no probable cause;

b. unilateral power given to the president by congress to invoke the laws of war during a “hostility”;

c. unilateral power given to the president by congress to transfer the power under the laws of war to “domestic agencies fighting terrorists”
