We needed this. I hope we end the day lower by another 777 points. Just a few seconds ago I got a text from a friend, who could careless about stocks or finance, saying the world is coming to an end. Great!

Right now the VIX is over 55, and I have a boatload of cash at my disposal. It pains me that I got rid of my [[SRS]] late Friday, but oh well.

You have to admit a few stocks look attractive here. Just take a look at Transocean Inc. [[RIG]] .

Get ready for the bounce of a lifetime.

Note: I will be leaving soon for New Orleans as I get ready for some Monday night football.

I know you have been waiting for me to come out firing like I always do, but I will not.

I did just buy a little Morgan Stanley [[MS]] @ 24.60

and some [[UYG]] near $17. (note: small positions)

Regions Financial Corporation [[RF]] also seems interesting to me here around $13, but I already have MS & UYG.

I also added to my puts in [[IWM]] as a hedge. (still have that strangle going)

It’s important to be very careful here. If you decide to go long throw a hedge on for downside protection ie. [[SRS]] or puts on IWM.

Charts are indicatiing a bear flag at the moment (very Bearish), be careful.
