Your Weekly Look At The US Stock Market

The S&P 500 finished the week in uncharted territory, aka new record highs.  Here’s your weekly candlestick view:

Week over week, surprisingly, the Major Integrated oils saw the greatest jump in hybrid score:

If we take a look at oil on the weekly chart, we put in a nice hammer reversal candlestick, with the lows @ 39.19. That is your new level to define risk:

Party Like It’s 1999

If you zoom out to a 20 year chart of the Nasdaq Composite index, you will find that we are trading slightly above the highs during the 2000 Tech bubble. With the decline this week in the market, the Nasdaq managed to pullback down to retest the tech bubble highs @ 5,132. So far, judging by the last two days, it has been a successful retest.

The futures are off to a good start this evening, if oil cooperates, we could see some fireworks here as we end the week. Conversely, should 5,132 fail to hold, I will be looking to short the market with great vigor.

Small Stocks Under $10

Here’s a look at Wednesday’s small bombs screen found inside Exodus. This screen searches for low priced stocks with significant changes to their respective hybrid score. This screen is very useful in identifying quick momentum daytrades. Exodus members can bookmark the screen HERE.

Under the surface, there are some large moves being made in the small priced/trash stocks. Take a look at $GEVO, one we highlighted inside the chat today. When trash starts to float to the top, this is my go-to screen: SMALL BOMBS (import).

Here are some others I’m looking to trade: WLL, MTG, LC, NMBL, ZAGG, ALJ, RPTP, FUEL, THLD, & IPI
