Cast out Ye Nets, Fishermen!

 Fisherman

_________________________________

As we enter the season of the Fisher of Men, I’ll humbly advance a fisherman’s theme this night.

This is a time of nervousness and possible discord in the markets and in the civil society.   Revenue strictures have led to a fraying of the social contract, and the casual derision many aim at the government bureaucracy has curdled to something more angry.   It’s tough to watch state employees rioting about having to pay a portion of their health benefits when real unemployment levels hover in the double digits.

Maybe this is a good time to repent?

In any case, this is certainly a decent time to make like a fisherman on the Sea of Galilee and throw out one’s net for certain gold and silver plays that you’ve perhaps let slip in the past.   You are familiar with the number of headliners that I’ve chosen to lead my portfolio and I won’t bother repeating them here.  Any number of them are available on sale right now, and I continue to believe the silvers will remain the leaders, but tonight I’ve decided to illustrate one of my favorite gold picks.

I think there’s a relatively easy buy point here, provided there’s not some sea change in either the dollar’s direction, or the overall market.  Behold:

How fortunate we are to be able to cast out our nets in such waters and bring up large gaping lunkers!

Mazel tov.

    His Holiness the Dalai Lama stepped down as the political leader of Tibet. Man, that just makes me so sad as he was the one person in political leadership I had faith in. I know his political position was largely ceremonial, but dang… it is just not something I expected to read tonight. He says he will remain as spiritual leader. And he is 75, so I can’t begrudge him in anyway.

      His political influence was minimal in the face of aggressive China and also US govt high tolerance of China’s destruction of Tibetan culture.

      There is little left of Tibetan culture, today, as the Chinese govt has made great efforts to destroy it. There is not much left to preserve of Tibet, in other words.

      The world let it happen many years ago. This is sad in that Tibet has lived in relative peace and harmony for hundreds of years, prior to the Chinese invasion in 1959. The Tibetan culture was a symbol of peace and freedom that has now been destroyed forever. The model for the rest of the world has veeb destroyed by communism, and it is doing the same to the US as I write this.

        I know. It is one of the very sadist things of my lifetime, and most people don’t even understand how very sad and scary it is.

          There is not a single thing sad about the DL leaving politics. He is supposed to be a spiritual leader. Political leaders should be elected, not appointed at birth.

          a little history, fwiw

          ============================================================

          the 14th Dalai Lama fled from the Chinese, who is actually called Bstan-‘dzin-rgya-mtsho and who was born in 1935 and enthroned in 1940.

          In 1959 he fled to India as the Chinese occupied Tibet, because the Dalai Lama is, in truth, not a religious head, rather a political head, even if something else is asserted by the Lamaists who say that he is the highest spiritual dignitary.
          He emerged as the political power-holder, in the context of the Tibetan government-in-exile led by him, in order to obtain a real autonomous Tibet through negotiations with the Chinese government, whereby the Dalai Lama is then naturally supposed to constitute the sovereign, respectively, the political ruler.

          Even when the 14th Dalai Lama emerges as the spiritual dignitary of Lamaism and officially stands up in the world for tolerance among the religions and the peoples, as well as for the observation of humanity’s global responsibility, in the background, hidden in his deeds, is actually his political power-nature which he gladly wants to exercise in Tibet and presumably even in the entire world.

          With him it is therefore about power, which was already the case with the 13th Dalai Lama, (who was the political leader of Tibet) and also with the others before him. He chased into flight the Panchen Lama – respectively, Penchen Lama, (meaning: learned philosopher) respectively, the spiritual leader and co-regent of Tibet – and indeed in the year 1923.

          His flight led him to China where a large Buddhist community offered him protection.
          His life was threatened by the 13th Dalai Lama who had sent out his soldiers to mercilessly immediately shoot the Panchen Lama if they got hold of him.

          the Lamaist Lhasa, the Lamaist centre in Tibet, is, so to speak, a secret world-centre in Asia and that, secondly, Lamaism is a degenerated and despotic sect which cannot be equated with Buddhism, although the Dalai Lama and the Lamaists refer to Buddhism in regard to their religion.

          Accordingly, the national religion of Tibet also cannot be called Buddhism, rather only Lamaism, which has nothing to do with real Buddhism, if nowadays a true Buddhism may be spoken of at all, because, even with this, very many things were distorted and indeed even in regard to the teaching of Gotama Buddha, consequently the real teaching was only taught, understood and lived by the prophet himself.

          True Buddhism knows neither force nor power, nor despotism or forms of un-freedom, of discord or of disharmony; yet what is taught and lived today – also with all other religions and sects – has nothing more, or not much more, to do with the actual teachings of the prophet Buddha because these were thoroughly distorted.

          The Dalai Lama, Bstan-‘dzin-rgya-mtsho – who today cruises around in the world, promotes a free Tibet and writes books with inexpert content – is no Buddhist at all, rather a Lamaist who strives for state power.

          Who then still wonders that he had to flee from the Chinese?

          The fact is that the Tibetan Lamaists committed monstrous atrocities before the Chinese again took over control of Tibet, whereby, at any rate, they are also to blame for unbelievable atrocities.
          Naturally this truth is vehemently disputed and denied as well as twisted from all sides, as also is the truth that, after the founding of the Peoples’ Republic of China, Tibet became the most important bulwark and the “forbidden land” of the communist countries in order to stop the British Empire which, with evil force, attempted to spread itself out further in Asia.

          The truth is that “Tibet’s independence” was first discussed in 1840 and indeed with the so-called Opuim War. At that time the West’s invasion of China began, whereby the British attempted to separate Tibet from China.

          That was also the time in which the great and worldwide espionage network was built up which had already been constructed under Queen Elizabeth I of England in the 17th Century and which has been maintained in the most various forms up to the current time.

          In spite of these facts, most western countries revere the Dalai Lama in particular, as also, however, do the Tibetan Lamaists, whereby neither these believers nor the western worshippers and followers know the actual facts about the Dalai Lama and Lamaism.

          The believers of Lamaism are so duped that they follow the Dalai Lama blindly and neither examine the background of this nor the background of the machinations of Lamaism.
          There are only few real experts in the entire matter about the Dalai Lama and Lamaism, as, for example, diverse journalists who also name the facts openly, as, for example, in 2000, when the German media openly challenged the Dalai Lama and talked plainly.

          for example, the following points were openly held against him, which he naturally vehemently denied:
          1. that he defames his critics, respectively, slanders them, and brings them into disrepute;
          2. that he actively oppresses religious minorities, however, otherwise plays the good human;
          3. that he has knowingly falsified the history of Tibet and his flight, and so forth;
          4. that he perfidiously exploits his political status and his power as head of the Lamaists over the believers;
          5. that he oppresses any political and religious opposition to himself;
          6. that he has fallen into to a most extreme tyrannical and undemocratic leadership style;
          7. that he maintains rituals which are misogynistic, respectively, antagonistic to women;
          8. that he maintained, and maintains, friendship-based contacts with former SS members, respectively, Nazi big-wigs, as well as with neo-Nazis.

          The CIA plays a decisive role in the more recent history of Tibet.

          The CIA, was the authoritative factor behind the success of the Dalai Lama’s flight to India where he lived in exile and was supported by the US secret service as well as the guerrilla army, the armed Tibetan-Lamaist troops, who caused much harm and perpetrated monstrous atrocities, however, in reality, could not accomplish much to bring Tibet under their and the Dalai Lama’s control.

          Nevertheless, the acts of the guerrilla army had a great significance for the moral of the community of Tibetan exiles who fled to various countries, because they hoped that a return to a “free” Tibet would be possible for them, whereby, however, they only knew the propaganda of the Dalai Lama – which is always still the case – while the truth is withheld from them.

          And that the CIA in Tibet also forcefully functioned in another way, was also clearly connected, among other things, with the occurrences of uranium which the country had to offer and which was not supposed to fall into the hands of the Russians.

            I’ve been Buddhist all my life, and have practiced Tibetan Buddhism for many years. Your post seems to seek to degrade a culture of much beauty and tolerance. This is very Chinese in its way of manipulating truth to seek the destruction of that which threatens it.

            Your post fails to mention that the Dalai Lama and the Panchen Lama are known as a “tulkuh,” which is a thought form born into a woman’s body (an immacuate conception). A tulpa (similar) is a thought form that materializes direct from the ether.

            There are extensive tests performed to ensure without a doubt that both of these spiritual leaders are reincarnated from the previous incarnation. The Dalai Lama is the embodiment of the archetype of Compassion. When the people of the world call upon this archetype when it is much needed, it is born again into the world in the form of a human being.

            Both the Dalai Lama and the Panchen Lama are spiritual leaders of the highest caliber, for this reason. They represent the greatest threat to communism’s power and control, as a result.

            These concepts are so foreign to Western culture that they are easily manipulated by the Chinese, in the eyes of most Westerners who fall for it.

            Lamaism is not completely separate from Buddhism in Tibet. The second oldest (9,000 to 18,000 years) religion still in existence is the Bon religion of Tibet. This religion dabbles much in shamanism but has greatly influenced Buddhism, in much the same way the Vedic (pre-Hindu) civilizations influenced Buddhism. Lamaism is not a threat to and does not conflict with Buddhism in any way. The modern day version of Bon is in fact the Dzogchen school of Buddhism, which clearly demonstrates that early pre-Buddhist religions and modern Buddhism still work together, hand in hand.

            In fact, the Shambhala (Dzogchen) school of Buddhism is being co-opted by the Fabian Socialists and the Luciferians (via the Lucis Trust, a major UN NGO), in an effort to help replace the major religions (Catholicism, Islam, etc.) with the New World Order’s preferred religion, which is the Pagan Gaya (Earth Mother) religion of the UN Agenda 21 sustainable development movement. These Fabian socialists see Dzogchen’s approach to multiple deities as a leverage point for followers into the Gaya path.

              I should add that the Gaya religion is a legitimate religion, and the UN plan is that it will be used as a mask of a world government religion that operates in its place.

              The most recent incarnation of the Panchen Lama was kidnapped by the Chinese govt, along with his family, many years ago and he has not been seen since. The Chinese govt replaced the Panchen Lama with their own individual who serves the Chinese govt.

              This is important since the Panchen Lama is the reincarnated lama who is responsible for identifying the next incarnation of the Dalai Lama, the embodiment of the archetype of Compassion.

                Legitimate according to who? And why is it so hard to start a new religion nowadays? Some guy says “you must always carry a little ceremonial knife to jr. high school and wrap up your hair”, or “allow me to adjust your downward dog”, and suddenly its a religion. I just can’t seem to find any followers or get official sanctioning in the worship of our true masters (potato bugs) through the ceremonial sharing of potato chips among believers. Not fair! I need more traction. /sarc

    Interesting that the gold-silver ratio is quickly approaching a 13-year support area of about 38. Will you be moving into gold when we hit this, as I expect a pullback in silver very shortly due to this?

    Thanks Jake.

      Yeah, I think in the near term gold will “catch up” on the recent silver move, but that ultimately, silver will break down through that support to an even lower ratio.

    I rode SLV from mid 26 to 34 and missed the last pop to 35+. Then as I said…had I been a betting man I’d have shorted but instead I went down to my core positions.

    The bitch is…we are just now back to the point where I thought prices were a little rich. Seems like it’s too early to call this pullback in Silver done. However…the JBTFD crowd makes this a tougher and tougher call as time goes by.

    Gold looks better at this point. Thanks for the ANV call…might nibble on some this morning.

      The absolute best way to catch fish is with Rotenone. Use the liquid variety. Let it drool out the back of the boat as you are trolling forward. Make sure you have a fish net and a big enough boat to hold the fish. Wait a few minutes and watch them pop up. Damndest thing you ever saw….like corks popping up all over the place. This is overkill but you can see the effects… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-zmvQjHWBo
