Serious question, we are facing this dilema with one of our companies. They have quite a large cash position within Cypress and some other countries in the Eurozone and we are trying to figure out what the best safe haven is over there? We do have accounts in Switzerland, so I ask you, the most intelligent readers of ibankcoin and since our vile bankers continue to say everything’s fine, do we move it to the Swiss Franc? Dollar? If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them in the comments with reason, thanks!

As you may have noticed or not noticed, it has been a while since I’ve posted anything. This is due to my deep and utter sadness for the loss of the world’s greatest golfer. Forgive me. I ended the year with a lackluster 3% gain within the ES/TF/OEX system trading portfolio and a pretty good success rate of 67%. See each trade here. The account did not have the desired performance I was anticipating but I suppose that is to be expected with these outrageous swings we have had of late.
2012 has started off pretty crappy having my largest draw down since inception. Regardless, it feels good to not sit in front of the screen all day and manage this stuff. I do find myself wanting to exit trades early to either cut the loss or take the gain if I am watching the trade. Still working on that to rid the system completely of emotion.
Fly, why the hate for Ohio? Did we not give you that ghey time machine you always talk about?
The state of Pennsylvania has been cursed. It is only a matter of time before Santorum becomes Santorumed.

GOD I love this site. I mean I really fucking love it. So many intelligent people combined with so many fucking weirdos. The Fly’s most recent post “Throw Them To The Fire” is just pure brilliance. You don’t just get market insight from this place but straightforward words to fucking live by.
Now I know I add absolutely nothing to this site but I could give two shits. I’m just using this as a public journal so I can keep some sort of accountability to myself. After 6 years of trying to figure out a style of investing that suits me, I’ve come to the revelation that my mental state can only handle system trading along the lines of the great Woodshedder. So after many months of testing, I’ve gone live with a few futures systems and will soon be live on some spread plays as well.
Since my last update, I’ve done pretty well. Played GOOG calls for a nice gain and the system rode some shorts yesterday as well. The futures account is already up 20%. Results are here
