This Forex market is crazy. I’m crazy.
You’d “have to be crazy” not looking to pick off this pop in $USD this morning – even on a lark!
As my entry strategies have me placing several smaller orders over time, I will most certainly “roll the dice” ( he he…no I don’t roll the dice ever ) and look to not only add to a couple of existing positions – but open a couple new ones.
We’ve all got our long term ideas ( or maybe you don’t ) then our medium term, and then of course the beloved and most dangerous of them all the short term. Well! – this late in the ball game as far as $USD’s recent retracement goes….entry short here with some reasonably tight stops provides a pretty freakin low risk shot at it – as your risk is pretty well defined.
We’ll see how things play out on this one – as it’s been a grind, but that’s nothing new. We all know how that goes. Juuuuust around the time you’ve actually considered throwing in the towel. Bang! The next morning you’d have been a prophet if you’d just stuck to the plan!

If I was concerned about a single day’s action….or even a single weeks action, as it would affect my continued “ass kicking” in markets – you win – you’ve got me today.
I am an entire -40 pips in the red on short USD/CAD and more or less flat across the board on most else, yet to even pull the trigger on “round 2” of my order entries.
Then if need be……round 3 ……then round 4…….5 etc……..
It’s actually pretty hard to screw this up at this point – as little could happen that I don’t just “trade straight thru”.
i don’t look for a “daily win” – I bank monthly / yearly wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiins baby!
Ya I can’t see today’s USDCAD US session high being threatened for awhile. I am about 45 pips offside and could happily add on momentum tomorrow. Should be well into the money by tomorrow am sometime. 12 or so sessions later I might be interested in getting long. Hopefully everybody will be cashing in here and there.
lol…Actually today watch that huge POMO buying in our half session. Could hurt USD a bit intraday.
I can’t believe I’m actually in the money w usdjpy short. Wasn’t expecting much from it. Still a hair offside w usdcad. So far buying a GC right around 1200 was a good idea….so far
