11:46 Entries – Waterfalls and More

I’ve taken a day to read back through a number of my previous posts both here and at the blog.

This kind of “self evaluation” is not only valuable from a bloggers perspective but also specifically as a trader – much like any of you may flip back through your trade notes / journals to evaluate your performance or to see if you’ve “stuck to the plan”.

As far as the blogging goes – I see considerable room for improvement, but as far as the trade stuff goes  – not to shabby ( if indeed you can pick out anything “useful” from the implorable writing).

Looking back I’ve had Japan nailed  – from the epic fall of the Yen to the recent rejection of the Nikkei…..as well I even got my “waterfall” in USD.

Now we place short entry in $SPX a couple of hairs under the current market price.

USD is heading much lower after ” an excuse for a bounce” – and my short $SPX will get hit…maybe not tomorrow….and maybe after a touch higher but who cares about that. We are on the other side of the mountain now.

  4. Yeiz – one would need to be very careful ( in my view ) when looking for correlations with respect to the PM’s and the stock market.

It would not at all surprise me to see an additional leg down in gold – regardless of what the stock market does short and even medium term.

Consider that any large upward movement in gold grossly undermines the Fed’s goal in crushing the dollar so….be aware. Gold is currently and equally as manipulated as both the USD as well the U.S stock markets.

I will start reading your posts and ask some questions after that.

  7. Of particular interest the Yuan in that – soon it will likely be included in the basket of currencies that make up the “IMF’s” SDR’s (you may want to google that) and will make much further headway as an internationally recognized / tradable global currency.

Given the means – I would own as much of the currency as I could come late 2014 / early 2015.

  8. Thanks.
I heard of SDR’s probably from Jim Rickards. And Jim Rogers is looking at the ruble.

ps years ago I visited Tulum, Xel-Ha and did some fishing, south. Nice area.
