Look for further Bernakean trickfuckery in either the “Save Fannie Mae [[FNM]] and Freddie Mac [[FRE]] ” Movement, or in a suprise rate cut to “save the bloody banks,” man. Something is signalling further abuse to the already-in-need-of-Social-Services U.S. Greenback.
I don’t like the smell of this. Luckily, my biggest positions outside of my big three ( [[SKF]] , [[FXP]] and [[EEV]] ) are in various precious metal and energy names. Specifically, I like Chesapeake Energy Corporation [[CHK]] , Transocean Inc. [[RIG]] , Occidental Petroleum Corporation [[OXY]] in the latter, and Goldcorp Inc. (USA) [[GG]] , Royal Gold, Inc. [[RGLD]] , [[GLD]] , [[SLV]] , and Silver Wheaton Corp. (USA) [[SLW]] ovah heah.

Nothing worse than just sitting around in the plane waiting, and waiting, to take off. It’s no wonder some people get antsy or claustrophobic and make a run for the exits.
Could never understand why they dont deplane under circumstances like this …. wasn’t there some Customer Rights bill that was initiated to prevent “getting stuck” on a grounded plane after some blizzard?

I am now stuck in DC awaiting my “connection.” Apparently every flight in the whole universe was delayed except for our direct connection, which left exactly on time, and 15 minutes before we arrived.
I could pull someone’s eyeballs out with a straw right now.
I’d pay to see someone do that, just out of morbid curiosity. You’d have to use a regular straw, not the ones with the flex-neck because I don’t think they’d be able to withstand the force it would take to effectively gouge a grown man’s eye.
Unless, by “pull” you meant that you would affix the straw to a man’s eye and suck the other end of the straw so hard the dude’s eye would pop out. If that’s what you meant, I’d rather not see that, although it’s still moderately cool.

I finally got home. It was a giant clusterfuck but at least the “replacement plane” was not crowded.
The 2 year old, however was not amused. Nor was he “amusing.”
The best simile I could make is when you put water on those cute little gremlin things at night.
