We’ve come to another time in the cycle where I must again beg your forgiveness for my absences. This is just not a great time of year for me to be doing any blogging. This is a time for closing, and little else.
And as you know, “Cawfee is for closers.” There’s a logical reason for that. It’s that it’s a standard remedy for sleep deprivation.
I’ve got a 7:00 meeting tomorrow morning and I am not what you would call a “lark.” In fact, I’m rather the wisest of owls. I believe I shall sleep for 24 hours this weekend, if left unmolested (unlikely).
I submit this pre-amble in way of saying that I’ve done little with the port these last few days. I’m down to my last shares of AGQ, and I’ve sold some EXK, but that’s been about it. I think tomorrow I may even sell some SLW, if the creek continues to rise in the PM sector.
Tomorrow should tell us if the dollar is going to rally or continue down. I imagine the break down will be severe should it come. If not, then it’ far more likely the dollar will rally for a while.
Don’t follow me, as I’m sleep walking, but I will be announcing any other moves in The PPT tomorrow, as they happen.
Best of Morpheus’s Dreams to you, my peoples.

Still relatively heavy in the PMs, but a little lighter than usual. Get some sleep this weekend.
Hope your deals go well!
I find it interesting that base metals had a strong move Thursday in light of the fact China is likely to raise interest rates. The mere thought of China raising rates last month elicited a big one-day hiccup in the market. Now I’m not so sure its affect will be that negative as it seems a foregone conclusion. A stronger dollar should translate to weaker oil but not sure that is the case either. I read that the selloff in gold earlier this week was due primarily to New York traders who may have already covered their short positions and that the dip was bought by London traders.
The overall thesis remains the same. We’ve had a strong run here, though, and our choice is “parabolic” or “retrace.”
I don’t think we’re quite ready for parabolic yet.
Direxion Funds coming out with DUST and NGET should be a signal.

Take care Jake.
Thanks Moobs and Yoges.
_______
No time for sleep Jake.
You can sleep when the kids are married and out of the house.
That’s definitely part of the problem. No more “two sports at one time” for any of ’em!

Sir Jake, Have you ever come across junior operating in Mexico called Paramount Gold and Silver, ticker PZG? If so, I would be interested to hear your take on it, the stock is rippin tits today. Some of the principles at PZG were also involved in Seabridge Gold’s (SA) massive Canadian discovery of KSM a few years back.
Don’t know it, but holeeee schieesss!

IAG at the top of the righthand IHS pattern now … looking good!
Bout freaking time. As a reversion to the mean play, this one’s been a bit slower than ANV.

Stopped out of IIIN for a 35% gain today …. I’ll be back!
Nice win. Kudos, and let us know when you are looking at it again.
