U.S. vs Italy

So we have European shooters versus USA athleticism. So far, U.S. is having a dunkathon, and Italy is jacking up threes. Too bad Kobe ain’t playing, but it’s okay, Chris Paul is a super good and underated point guard. Anyway, I’m hoping to see something like this…

Anyway, after the past two days of ugliness in the market, I’m thinking of clearing my swing trades and reopening them when the market decides to rally or fall.

A twisted friend once told me, “Every dog has their day.” Today was not my day. It was another twisted day in the market. I got sucked into the Oralab (OLAB) toilet, but this time I limited my capital and stop loss. I did manage to squeeze in a few swing shorts. All market indexes were affected by the hawkish Fed comments, which weren’t so bad, but the market reacted negatively anyway (broken record recation). That was enough to wipe out the entire gains of the Dow.

• XMSR– was strong all day! I hesistated to put a buy order early this morning, and that was obviously a mistake. Price increase + volume = strong rally.
• CTCM – I lowered my stop cover to 22.65 because I am getting nervous with another breakout. I don’t know. With the price increase of this IPO, I’m still stubbornly shorting.
• ALSK – seems to be surviving a “cut” by Lehman (Lehman is one of my most hated analyst). The longs are pretty strong here.
• TZOO– strong all day. Extra strong into the close. I think the short sellers are getting beat up here again.
• Internet stocks were up on eBay raising prices… ?!! That’s pretty lame.
• AMD– on fire.
• MauiTrader’s latest swing longs… NEU, VTIV, MNG. His latest long position he put money in… TWTC.
• Fly averages down his position in PALM. I’ll join you soon.
• KeyTronic (KTCC) a previous “breakout” stock slows down in sales, and gets hit aftermarket.
• Medifast (MED) has fallen below $12! Lookout below.
• Jamba Juice (SVI) – is in short term correction mode.
