You guys do not do nearly as well when CA here. And I think that speaks volumes for him and well little. This of course only applies to most who are not doing well today. That being said I plan on exiting some gold shorts later today or tomorrow for a nice gain. Everything else I own pretty much sporting a green % next to it. My first short area was @980. I then covered I said and reapplied higher…… I only used 50% of short capital except from my short from 1015 to 1007, which was 100%. I also was short gold which went down considerable. So do the math.

But the fact of the matter is this position will be back on by the EOD = ES996-999. I expect us to go lower but not before a higher high(if not then so be it and i will add on what I took off at low back on)…… Above ES 1000 I will reevaluate. This isnt about being right or wrong or about being the best “guru” it is just me listing my postions/updates. Just because you see something doesnt mean you take a position.

Getting smacked about and enduring a whipping with my HLCS buy (down almost 20%) and AVNR (down a bit less) not offset by URRE and COIN wins. Well worn CA advice about position sizing kept the damage down. I do have a lot of confidence that HLCS (unless criminally faking it) is now worth several times it’s market cap. Don’t know if my position will be in the black tomorrow, but I wouldn’t be very surprised.
Bigger point is that we’re now at the stage where any human can be genetically mapped quickly and cheaply – like the guy who is immune to the AIDS virus or seems to have no heart disease at 90 etc, etc. This is such a big time for genetics / biotech. I’ll try and put some time into some worthy companies and post a short synopsis.
It is very cool technology. The only problem is that the market has its own time offset that you can’t usually predict, sometimes it is well before reality, sometimes well after. So, I do think companies like HLCS are great long term “seed” stocks that may very well explode one day, hard to say why that day is today or tomorrow.

since i’m moving to a new broker, i’m all cash except for my EDZ which will be my only trade til next week.
Sold LTXC (bot @ $.50) today for $.82 … High was .96 but too much slippage to hang on any longer …
Sold UCBH (bot @ $1.60) today for $1.55 … financials suck and raised cash for another swing trade
New swing trade is HAYN (bot @ $26.77 … per 200 day chart, open air above $28.25 (In early in case of gap up to avoid missing potential move to $40) … broke out of symetrical triangle (100 day chart) last few days and two year down trend will be broken around $28 (per 3 yr chart) as well. Its a lagging industrial and performed well in today’s down market. Volume is thin, trading between 200 – 300K per day though so stops are advised.
Short Interest in C is down to 300ish million shares from over 1.1B shares after the conversion…. that means the short interest is only less than 0.3 days of volume short.
